Nissan Leaf Battery Upgrade

Short video, hopefully answers a few questions, and shows the differences side by side, of an original Gen2, 24kw, Nissan Leaf battery pack, vs a rebuilt pack made using brand new CATL cells and modules we import from our trusted supplier and installed using laser cut steel plates.
As you can see, the new 40kw modules are quite a bit more compact than the old 24kw modules.

Is the weight the same? CATL cells I’ve heard are slightly heavier. Also is it possible to do this on say a Kia Soul EV?
