Stronghold Definitive Edition - Mission 18 End of The Pig

You have been charged to overthrow the Pig's final county by laying siege to his stronghold. You have besieged this castle before but it has since been rebuilt and now has a full garrison so will prove to be a far greater challenge. Our simple but direct approach last time with the battering ram may not now be enough. Build some siege towers to scale his tall walls.

I know the attacker of a siege is supposed to have a massive disadvantage but holy crap this level is crazy. It might have been fun if there wasn't fire traps everywhere.

I was able to do this level a little better thanks to this video. While rushing my melee units in I had the bowmen sit on the rocks and fire upon the archers which helped alot. Lost 64% of the troops. Would have been better had The Pig not automatically torched the entire town while we were in there. lol

I beat the mission on easy with 1 maceman and 1 spearman left who both had almost no HP

@Pandatoofu you realize the game was made 20 something years ago? For that time it's an amazing game. Just because there is a bug in the game play doesn't make it a bad game.

@Pandatoofu I don't have the definitive edition. After finding it doesn't have skirmish mode with ai lords, I didn't see the point of getting it. It's literally the same game with just better graphics so no point.
