Well done boss .. very amicable .. and I could understand your Vietnamese pronunciation too ..I can feel the effort in how you consciously pay attention to rising and falling tones and when to put emphasis on a word. Kudos..liked and subscribed. 👍
Every time I watch your videos it makes me want to learn Vietnamese. Everyone is so friendly and the food is amazing. I'm glad to grow up in Southern California where there is a big viet population down here. I hope some day I can learn the language and visit. Awesome videos as always!
I've already learned Korean and Chinese, I have no aspirations to learn Vietnamese. However, Loving the Viet community at home here in Philadelphia, and spending my winters in Asia (Korea and Malaysia/Singapore) I am for sure adding Vietnam for a few months out of the year. I have only traveled a few times for my grandfather to meet old friends (from the Vietnam War). But you have for sure made me a permanent visit every year. Thank you. Hope to see you on the street and I hope your family and friends are happy and healthy!
I love what Peter is doing and I hope it catches on more so that Vietnamese food doesn't always remain cheap as it deserves to be elevated like any other cuisine. That cha ca la vong looks beautiful!
Speaking only Vietnamese at home limited my Vietnamese, but after watching your videos I’m learning much more words. You speak so eloquently and clearly, it’s amazing!
From the beginning of my Vietnamese journey, I’ve had the privilege of being interviewed by many Vietnamese newspapers. I look at it as a speaking test that is graded by the citizens of Vietnam 😂
Hello anh Phúc, Wow! Your Vietnamese is good! I just learned the term “đầu gấu” from you. It’s good to see that you are doing well. Really enjoy your video. Thanks for posting it. Stay safe and healthy.
will be sure to visit an an at some point. been hearing so many good things about it! great video. your Vietnamese gets better and better with every vid.
The food looks amazing! I love the philosophy of elevating Vietnamese food while also appreciate the core of what makes each dish special. And I feel like I'm learning new words that I didn't speak growing up in the States when I watch! Enjoyed this a lot :)
Yes, I think this is a great option for those who want to see what an elevated version looks like. I'm happy to help people in learning Vietnamese and English through my content

Oh my God...Phúc Mập eat a lot of Vietnamese foods more than me. I don't know and have no chances like you. Best wishes to Phúc Mập alway having happy life in Viet Nam.
Not the first comment that I have received about how I hold chopsticks. I’ve never had an issue eating food in Vietnam while holding on like this, so I don’t see myself changing anytime soon.
I wonder how many people can afford or are willing to dole out $100 for a bowl of Pho. I am not saying whether the Pho is deserving of that price or not for some people, but for me, the added value of a $100 bowl of Pho doesn't measure up.
Let’s just say, even in a city with 10 million people, it’s easy to spot me coming from mile away. This video was intended to be a walking Vlog around that area, but once Peter invited me in, I made the quick switch.
It boggles my mind to see all these positive reviews and it makes me think, are these people being paid to write fake positive reviews? I came with the family for dinner last week, and we got the set menu. When the first dish came out, we thought it was mediocre and anticipated the food would get better as we went to the next dishes. However, by the third dish, my family and I looked at each other and said, what the freak we are paying for here? Peter and his team tries too hard to differentiate by coming up with this asian fusion wanna be Michelin restaurant. While we thought the presentations were ok, the quantity was ridiculously small compared to other Michelin restaurants we ate throughout other places in the States. What was worst was the quality. It was pure garbage, considering the price we are paying for this experience. Anan charges 10x the price of a typical restaurant in Vietnam, so therefore, I woulda expect at least 4x better quality. Instead what we got was poor de-constructed of what we call food shrunk into one bite dish. The worst dish was the pho. It was not even a goddamn pho. Basically, it is plain beef broth with a piece of meat half the size of a penny and a slice of noodle the size of a dime. At the end, we were served with dessert, which they claim to be macaroon. It was no damn macaroon. I rather had 2 Nilla biscuits with cream filling in the middle. Overall, it was just a bad combination of ingredients messed together in presentable platings. Not to insult, but I don't understand how anyone can give this place more than 2 stars. Either they have really bad taste in food, or they just never eaten at a real Michelin restaurant and therefore think Anan is considered a Michelin. Peter must have paid arms and legs to be listed as 1 Michelin star. This is one of the times we felt angry eating at any restaurant. Worst freakin experience! Last but not least, the service was not even close to mediocre service. We had way better experience at other high end restaurants in Saigon but 5x less the price of Anan. Sorry Peter, but bruh bruh bruh!! at this rate, your place will go out of business in a few years. People will soon catch up to your overcharge for lousy experience and poor quality food. If you like to be ripped off and feel entitled to dine in a restaurant at the price of a local person's monthly income, then please come here so you can feel special for the 1.5 hours. Otherwise, find yourself a real Michelin to dine.
I believe you! my first response to 100$ (us) for a bowl of pho is ridiculous! while the most delicious bowl of pho elsewhere is not even 3$ ! and 100$ for a vienamese sandwich??? Maybe it caters to the newly rich vietnamese, but for foreigners who have travel the world, their pricy meals have no merit!! .Be well.
