This video was the "Ah-ha" moment I've been looking for for so long on Reverb!!!! Thank you for including the pictures it really helped show me the space it was in 👍👍👍👍👍🙏💓💓💓
Thank you fergivluv ! It's so great to hear that this was a helpful video for you. And, good feedback on the use of the pictures - I was hoping they'd help "show" the space. Thanks again for watching, and please let me know if you have ideas for future video topics.
@Peter M: Thank you much for your kind words and support. Much appreciated. I keep plugging away (slowly) on more videos. I hope you'll find them helpful; and, if you have suggestions for new topics, please do let me know. Happy New Year!
@@pcmusic2839 Hello there! Good New Year! One thing nobody done clearly on youtube is how to mix a good piano sound. About sustain, reverb any delay, and so on. How to get that sweet sound. We only know piano sounds, but to actually get the good sound in practice, is the question. This is very difficult, but hopefully you could break the audience with this type of vid. No hurry!
@@pcmusic2839 Im using sustain pedal half down and a small delay, this is my own invention. to keep it clear but avoid muddiness. i had to invent this myself, bcs there is absolutely zero info on this out there. in refrain i can double piano with a slight celeste, to make it crispy. thats my secret shared. someone could really look into this. and different ways on piano. even paying for this type of course would be reasonable.
Best tutorial and explanation ever 🌹❤️🌺Thank you so much for sharing your knowledge and experience with us ❤️❤️❤️love you somuch 😘 Subscribed with peace 🌟
@Durre Watson Thank you much for the kind words! It takes time to put these videos together, so hearing that they are helpful to others means so much to me!! Hope you're doing well. Thanks again and let me know if you have suggestions for future videos!
Thank you for the kind words, Nnaji Harrison. It's great to hear that you learned a lot from this video.....and, also happy that you appreciated my humor. :) Keep in touch and let me know if you have ideas for future videos.
a little correction: studio strings is recorded in the air studio 1 (a significantly smaller room compared to Lyndhurst hall, of which you've shown a picture) Chamber strings, Symphonic strings e.g. are recorded in the Lyndhurst Hall at Air studios.
@sislaney dillanomore . Thank you so much for catching this! It looks like I had a setting wrong in my OBS when I recorded this. I've now corrected for future videos. Thanks again for watching and calling this out!

Thanks for this video Sir. Your subtle humour, especially about recording in a bathroom was hilarious 😄
I really learnt a lot.
