Your camerawork made this a gorgeous clash between kaiju, emphasizing the sheer scale while never losing in-depth clarity of the attacks and struggles. The bolts raining down from above the pillars, the golden needles traversing the skies and truly raining upon foes, as well as shifting to search for their elusive target. We witnessed close fights with a lore inference as to who'd win based on key recurring moves. Thanks again!

Oddly enough, based on Farum Azula dating back to "time immemorial" and the Elden Ring mural there, the Elden Beast might have watched over Elden Lord Placidusax with his mysterious god. Granted, mileage may vary on whether the Twinbird, featured on Farum Azula's walls, was in the Elden Beast's role back then as an "envoy" of an outer god, or whether "envoy" means it was Placidusax's god.
Funny how Placidusax can wipe the floor with both the Elden Beast and Radagon just like Nameless King can destroy Soul of Cinder's two phases. Fromsoft love storm-themed optional endgame bosses and i dig it since they're both part of my favorite bosses lol
Placidusax is ultimately reliant on the lasers and gets shredded by the needles, which the Elden Beast can do at any point in three varieties. Lorewise, Placidusax would probably lose, as the Elden Beast would likely recognize it could rain on him. I say this because Placidusax's lasers are only used very late in the fight and Placidusax's Ruin notes them as "dying wails", perhaps a sheer emergency move.
@@nightscout9979 it's crazy how fromsoft likes to make final boss weapons dogshit in the players hands but cracked if the actual boss is using it makes sense I guess cause the tarnished or ashen one probably can't unlock the full potential of that weapon or move but still How's elden stars cost 50 faith and it's trash Like the firelink greatsword it's cool but it kinda sucks

Unfortunately I've done already an astel video and prepared another one....so it's gonna be a while before I do Astel in a video again...but don't stop believing, if the matchup works, I will do it at some point

Don't think Placidusax wiped the floor with EB, considering his laser beams came in clutch more than once.
