As an SDSU fan, the PAC12 won’t be as relevant in football but in basketball I think you are familiar that SDSU knocked off a #1 ranked Alabama. SDSU also has a winning record against Gonzaga since 2010. The football market is corned by the SEC and Big 10. The ACC and Big12 are lower tier in football. The other leagues are not on the same level but most players will need some place to land. It does not mean that the rest of college football is irrelevant. It just means that they will be in a less competitive conference.
Well, its relevant imo because it has an established brand, even though its not the same it'll be watched over other conferences due to sentiment, I mean, you're an SEC guy all the way and are interested. I also think we'll see more of these teams in higher rankings, as sadly brand value matters for voters
The Pac is trying to get stable while trying to raid the entire G5 while strategically holding some spots for some ACC leftovers to complete the rebuild.....they have alot going on lol. Memphis, Tulane & UTSA are bluffing for optics or are making a major mistake. USF probably got a phone call. Utah St. just got a major victory....they were guaranteed to get left behind, now they have stolen a spot. Salute to them. UNLV is going next & Air Force is gonna retract that statement asap. Yormark is gonna be hot if he lose UConn in all this....
Ok you can talk against the pac 12 not being as it was. but just the the teams in the pac currently definitely are way better than those of the aac. Like UTSA, tulane as one of the headliners is not as powerful as oregon state, wsu, boise state, sandiego state, etcetera. Also not be littling those programs though because in truth i very much wanted them and still we can get them. Most the pac 12 said they were staying as well a year ago.

I think Hawaii would make a lot of sense geographically wise, Gonzaga is very interesting choice hm.
@@xfacta334 hm thats interesting I saw on CBS sports page that they are saying that Pac12 might have to go looking around at schools like NDSU, SDSU, Montana and Montana State and Idaho down at that level cause those four they wanted were staying with their conferences. They gotta get two more, who do you think would be accepting their invite? I have no idea now.
@@HawkinsTTV yea the 4 Dakota schools will only move as a package, same for the 2 Montana schools. Idaho, Sac St., Eastern Wash. weren't getting a call. Anyway, they only need 1 right now since Utah St. backdoored their way onto the boat so it will probably be UNLV by the end of the week. They sent out too many smoke signals for it not to be them.

Totally a foolish move for these 4 not to leave the AAC. There is so much better upside and future opportunities in the new PAC.

I have always heard a conference doesn't extend an official invite unless both parties agree ?....We still doing amateur hour in the PAC I see.

BYU is in the B12 and nobody wants Hawaii. Those West Coast leagues have been trying to leave Hawaii behind for almost 3 decades now.

Why can’t they add FCS teams to MWC Like SDSU ,NDSU , Western Washington
The Dakotas and the Montanas aren't trying to make the jump. All have said they a comfortable where they are.
