Love how Holly posed with your Art. I hate wasting paint (it’s so expensive). So I take an old book (yes dumpster dive behind local library) and turn either my palette or my book up side down and push down & twist. Makes for some interesting beginnings. If I have left over ink on a stamp or have paint left on a stencil, left over washi tape it all goes into the smash book, always overlapping. Can be quite a challenge at times, but I’m always amazed at what comes to fruition from the chaos.
Holly is sooooooo precious! I love her. I have had two cats show up and move in with me over the years. It is an honour to be chosen. Oh, great page too (haha, I see a cat and I forget anything else I have watched)
Anyone who asks their local flower store (or maybe catch the church's flowers when they get old) can ask for their cast offs. The new thing in flowers is the decorated wraps. They have a variety of textured paper that just gets thrown away.. Lots of times they are happy to save them for you. Don't forget the scraps they cut off the bouquet. If nothing else, ask for a catalog and use that for journals. They have amazing textures.
Oh my gosh, you are definitely the work smarter person - I would not have thought to paint the flowers THEN cut them out until I had had already cut them out, lol. That page is Holly’s now, she has marked it, lol. So pretty.
Haha. I actually remember in kindergarten or first grade, when a classmate pointed out that when we do "color, cut, and paste", that you don't have to worry about coloring in the lines because you're going to cut it out! 😄 It was revelational to me, too. I guess everything I need to know, I really did learn in kindergarten.

I love that idea! Fun way to see what happens with all the random left over supplies!
Love it!!! Mahalo for sharing. 🤙🏽🌺
So bright and cheerful - Holly obviously is a seasoned appreciator of fine art, lol.
Indeed, she was really a-purrrrrrrrrr-eaciating it.

Love this page as a reminder of my visit to Hawaii. In Australia 🇦🇺 we call plumeria “frangipani”.
Aloha and Shalom!
That's a fun word.
