Thank you friend!! Eihwar is a bridge between the old world and the new. We use both organic sounds (some plucked string instruments, medieval drum, shamanic drum, seeds, bronze bells, drums recorded in a bunker, and for sure all our vocals...) but also a lot of sounds synths that allow us to have the most powerful sound. The real horns we tested sounded like little chickens with their throats slit, so we decided to use for this archetypal sound a sound created synthetically in the studio: it's advantage and freedom (we know how freedom was dear to the vikings) to allow themselves to use machines!
It was not a good idea to listen to this while I have axes next to me, now I'm on a longship heading towards England 😑
