I’m a simple person: I saw kaarija with a rubber duck once, I went to run some errands, saw rubber duck earrings, immediately bought them ❤😂
this was kinda funny at the start, but the romanian guy (theodor andrei, if i remember right?) doesn't really deserve digs at him when his broadcaster gave him little to no financial support. i'm sure it's a good video otherwise, but it doesn't sit right with me to laugh at him like that, greece with the corruption scandal/nepotism is literally right there.
humour is different, i guess.

As a finn I couldn't stop laughing during Eurovision at Käärijä's lil awkward moments. Honestly I find these lil things make Eurovision so much more enjoyable and funny

No bcuz the Albanian brother giving literally zero stage presence made my uncle laugh (who hated the rest of the whole final) so someone give him an award for that
7:14 the piano's are often "progarammed" (for lack of a better word) to play a set melody, and when watching this bit I asked my sister if she was actually playing it (i could here additional notes on top of the regualr melody from the piano) and she said yes, so my guess is so that she could have overlapping melodies.
TLDR: the sane reason you'd use a loop pedal with a guitar when performing, it lets you play multiple melodies at once and therefore layer them
that would be an interesting reason, but no music instruments are played life at eurovision. every single instrument you see is not actually making sounds, its purely aesthetic

This is my first year being into Eurovision as I normally only get shown the songs after the finals, but I got shown the songs before the finals this year so I've been way more into it

from an "outsider" perspective; what can romania give us/known for other than vampires, vlad dracula, gypsies and pickpocketers?
no hate against them even though my nation had issues with them during the medieval/early modern era but seriously, if you are not into Romanian History and Culture (which i actually kinda am due to my nation and them sharing history) a person "outside" would only know these "stereotypes" and it can easily make them smile so i don't think one could take that too serious. it doesn't harm anyone, romanians are not that easily offended and what's weird about your comment is that the vampire "stereotype" is *not* even offensive as *i think* you tried to imply, heck it's even awesome and cool compared to the stereotypes my country has...
