Grazie! Belliissima sonata adatta a cominciare bene la giornata perché Scarlatti con variazioni sullo stesso tema sembra invitarmi a ripetere e insis nello studio
When I was a boy, I asked my piano teacher to help me to learn this piece. I did not confess to her I had listened to this beautiful sonata watching a movie by Borowicz, as she was an old, serious and very religious lady...
A wonderful performance -- everything just right and irresistible happiness, the best I have heard on UA-cam. Christian Zacharias' Scarlatti recordings contain many gems. K209 is the second of a pair of sonatas that Scarlatti would have performed in sequence, and Zacharias' recording of the beautiful slow K208 at ua-cam.com/video/vzPkgK6NwEw/v-deo.html is worth listening to before this one. But probably the best version of K208 is Maria Joao Pires' astonishing trance-like account on ua-cam.com/video/8JwVCBFAVwA/v-deo.html which is not really a performance at all -- she is simply living the music.

Delightful!
Scarlatti is an equal to Bach IMHO. In his universe of miniatures this is just an absolute delight
thank you so much for this!it is very helpful as I am preparing for my arsm exam😅
According to Kirkpatrick, this Sonata is a Jota, a Spanish dance.
Definitivamente esto 02:15 es un baile, ese ritmo puede llevarse muy bien hasta con un zapateado mientras se baila.
