This man is the beast, the round where you’ve guessed Afghanistan. On the Arabic book, under that SIYD text was written Afghanistan. You didn’t read it, ans still guessed correct. Well done!
Haha, the 'It's Pound so its HongHong' got mee flabbergasted ! The ukr - rus round was sad tho but on the other hand I am very happy to have the series continue lol
"traveller's coffee Odesa" at 20:51. i've seen it and i was sure you would find it. you ever hover your mouse over it lol. that was the easiest to find from all five.
The second you said Hong Kong after spotting the pound symbol I knew what was coming lmao. Also, in that Afghanistan it said Afghanistan right under ‘SYIB’ when you zoomed in ;). Great video as always mate, really enjoying the indoor content. It’s got a fun detective kinda feel to it.
the very last one you can see the 'travelers coffee ode...' in the reflection out of the front window, which is how I guessed, and they also speak russian in some places of ukraine if i remember correctly.
20:28 brochure on the table shows a price in Ukrainian currency 749 грн, which is Ukrainian hryvnya. russian currency is rub = руб Otherwise yes, everything there was in russian language, which is a shame.
@@jmya2563 Ok Bro, it’s spelled Odesa first of all. Second, as a russian speaking Ukrainian person myself, yes, yes I can. Cafe is a public place and there are laws for using an official language in public places, that’s why it’s a shame. If this cafe followed the law (which they could be doing now, probably an old photo) there would be a big W and a streak of 5 here, that’s all. And no one is shaming people for speaking whatever the language they want in their personal life. My whole family spoke russian our entire life in Kyiv. So peace, this pointless conversation is over✌️
Bro I feel really sorry for that Ukrainian round. I‘m Ukrainian, and some regions using Russian language more than Ukrainian. So you got Odessa, that is Russian-speaking city. Also there was the menu or something in the table. The was written 349 грн. And грн is the foreviation of Ukrainian currency (hryvni). That was not easy to guess and painful to watch. Nice try, waiting for new series.
As a Brit who lived in Hong Kong, that round was painful to watch! :) Lagos is pronounced with a long a, as in "Lay-gos", not "Lah-gos". The first thing I noticed on the Brazil round was a tiny room with two air-conditioners, so I figured it must be a very hot climate. TOEFL is standardized English testing, most associated with acceptance in the USA, the IELTS is the better known testing procedure used internationally, so you can assume that people reading those books are trying to go to the USA probably for school. The book that you read that said "SIYB" said Afghanistan right below those letters. You guessed great. That Ukraine round was killer!
Used to live in Lagos for a good while, and the Nigerians use either pronunciation (Laygos vs. Lahgos). There might be an official version, but colloquially you can say whatever you please.
Wow, cool map, never seen it before! Got really lucky on my first seed though... Had a mall in Haifa, an Arabic airport, and some shops with distinct signage.
Come on, you saw the book title, surely, and you're messing with us. Otherwise you had no reason to go Afghanistan. UNLESS it had a subliminal effect... Ooooh...
a lot of Ukrainians know how to speak russian, with something like 30% of Ukrainians even having russian as a first language. There are a lot of signs written in russian in Ukraine, seeing the 'ы' is very common there.
@@arrowheaded Yeah I was thinking like does he not know about asian markets in western countries? The mix of different languages in the boxes and obviously prices in pounds make it so obvious
16:06 It also said Afghanistan on the book where you read the title
20:51 Travelers Coffee Odessa

You should take an indoor selfie in 5 different places and get them added to the map and keep playing until you get them all in one round for a 25k
I'd still get it wrong
please upload ur literally my favorite geoguessr youtuber
Where did you go? I miss your videos 😢

Bro, You cant shame people based on language they speak. Odessa is biolang city, so that's not a secret there are russian even today

If you can get 4, you can definitely get 5. Until then, I'll watch every single one of these.
Coffee shop says Odessa on the sign.

Oh my god Odesa was written on the glass in plain latin letters, I kinda screamed when I saw it.
Anyone else see it say Afghanistan on the book and get so hyped when he still got it regardless
i truly am amazed how I miss these things
Miss your Livestreams🩶
Does Tel Aviv get cold why was everybody wearing winter jackets in that round so weird.
Enjoyed the video, keep it up!
thnx bro
Baseball?? SAT? English? A literal US map??? Obviously Afghanistan 🫡
Soooo close dude, been watching this series 👍

Love the Greenland flag!

Wow that last round was just impossible
😅
It was possible but extremely hard, the Russian-speaking partsnof Ukraine are really baity
Nice try my man!
bro I got a 7 country streak within an hour of trying the map
That was a з not a э
The з is a Z which is found in both languages
The э is a e
@@blastermane I think it's э cuz it would say 'flet' instead of 'flzt'. Not 100% sure but seems more logical
@@BrectifyandCraig i would agree that a Flet Wite coffee sounds marginally more appetising than a Flzt Wht coffee.
It was э, the language was Russian
NOOOO DON'T GO HONG KONG WITH £££ 😥
When you loaded into the round I thought it looked identical to the Chinese supermarkets we have here in the UK haha
