    First of all, I love that you’re able to talk and stay focussed on driving at the same time it’s quite impressive.
    As far as safety goes, I think you can choose to live in more open areas in Taiwan. Of course if you live in the city, there’s definitely more traffic.
    As far as air quality we definitely have good and bad days here in Taiwan although I must say it’s better now than it was when I first arrived in 1999.
    Happy birthday young man.

    This topic was surely inspired by people gushing over your positive relationship with your students. 😂
    I love close knit family, I'm staying with my uncle right now.
    The biggest barriers for me would be my church having very little presence in Taiwan, and the lack of firearms rights (I was raised in Canada, but I'm just over the border now and I'm not going back lol).

    happy birthday!🎂To add to Cole's point about safety, it's very common that most kids have structured activities outside of school hours and are generally supervised when outside the home. It's not like growing up in Canada where children are free range and told to be home at a certain time. Even Canada is not really like that as much any more.

    第二點台灣健保...最近掛號費話題很火熱阿,其實公立醫院和衛生所還是沒漲阿,合理調漲後還是很便宜,又可以減少浪費醫療資源,倒是媒體亂象拿可以不少專屬禮遇的特別門診掛號費來宣傳,看了很倒胃口。

    • @anneanitakuo
      @anneanitakuo 11 місяців тому +2

      掛號費只是去「大醫院」看一次病的「總醫療支出」「之一」而已,還要加部分負擔以及「藥費」,加起來已經四五百元。另外,如果有長期吃藥的話,「慢性病處方簽」在去年七月開始,也漲價了,大醫院開的慢簽第一次領藥需要加錢了。

    Wife is from Taiwan and my son was born there, We chose not to raise him in Taiwan because I had safety concerns. Mainly road safety, but also just Taiwans relaxed attitude towards safety in general. The other major issue was the education system, my wife did not want him to go to a taiwanese school. Also not all Taiwanese women are the jealous type.

      @JoshortizXLB 11 місяців тому

      Relaxed attitude towards safety?? I got the complete opposite percepetion. They are over protective. They dont even let people swim in the mountains because they are so over protective. you have to wear a life vest in the Leefoo Village water park in the 4 foot deep pool as a grown adult. kids can walk to school without parents worrying about predators and homeless too. Idk where you are from but it must be heaven because taiwan as safe as if not safer than the nice suburbs of California 😂 definitely safer

    • @djmaciiiii
      @djmaciiiii 11 місяців тому

      Watch the video, and look for sidewalks. No way you want you kid walking to school. And driving in Taiwan is like Madmax, total disregard for any type of rules or even common sense. Its ok in Taipei but it gets progressively worse the further you drive. @@JoshortizXLB

    • @Prozzie

    Fathers love their children forever, because their kids get blood from them. Some of men say their wives are not as important as their babies. Their wives could be abandoned or replaced by other girls after the husbands are getting tired of facing them. That's the reason why many women feel afraid. Girlfriends ask the questions beforehand to know whether their boyfriends have different thoughts.

    祝你生日快樂!🙏月子中心並非每個家庭非去不可的照顧產婦的地方,如果有父母親人可以照顧產婦的話,在家更溫馨,或者訂月子餐,送到家裡來,只是嬰兒的啼哭,新手父母可能會忙著手忙腳亂,爸爸的更得幫忙照顧,否則恐怕讓生活變得一團糟!
    但船到橋頭自然直,和女友好好商量,如果可以請女友的媽媽,幫忙照顧到滿月,包個紅包給媽媽,也可呀!
    以後世界是個地球村,只要讓你幸福快樂安全無慮的國家都可能會有許多的混血兒的誕生,只要他們快樂的成長在哪一個國家都一樣
    或者孩子長大了,他想要去加拿大或者是美國或者是歐洲他也有他自己人生的選擇,只要好好的把它照顧成長就夠了,其他不必想太多了!
    很想看看你的混血孩子,他可能成為明星,或未來的總統也說不定,你看英國首相是印度人,美國的歷任總統也有各種國家的血統,很期待看到你可愛的寶貝。❤💐

    Why I Would?
    ========================================================
    6. The Narcotic Problem in Taiwanese society is far less serious than that in Canadian.
    See the drug abuse in downtown Vancouver, and even other Canadian cities. Aren't you worried about your children being harmed by drugs?
    7. Cultural differences? Cultural differences are advantages, not disadvantages.
    As long as the child's mother is Taiwanese, her children will learn to adjust from an early age.
    Two languages and two cultures will make children more imaginative and tolerant (at least this is my ideal).
    As for making friends, that has nothing to do with cultural differences.
    8. Is Taiwan’s air pollution serious? There have been improvements over the past 2 decade.
    Emission standards for motorcycles and cars are becoming increasingly stringent, and electric vehicles are more and more popular. I believe the air quality will be even better in 20 years

    Marry to someone who is more open with those concerns. Not all Taiwanese women would worry the last concern.😂

    我只能說,任何地方都有好與壞,只有適合適應跟不適合適應而已。我以前男友說,不想在台灣有小孩,因為台灣交通太危險;結果,他前段婚生小孩在美國16歲有駕照就買車開車,發生大車禍,差點活不下來。

    Sofa is made of wood in Taiwan? LOL! Why would you choose a sofa made of wood in Taiwan, given that you have a whole lot of other options?

    • @Prozzie
      @Prozzie  11 місяців тому +1

      Not ALL sofas are made of wood but traditionally they are. Taiwan is extremely hot and humid so if you had a sofa made from plush leather it wouldn’t last long and no one would want to sit in it

      @@Prozzie Usually only older ppl use sofa made of wood. Now mostly choose fabric or leather. Taiwan is hot and humid but you can turn on a/c. Electricity bill is quite cheap in Taiwan. 24 hours inverter a/c everyday at 26 degree is like only 1000 ntd per month which is quite affordable.

    BRO...Dude-Bro,
    Having your baby and the mother stay in hospital or whatever the place is called for a month would be a DREAM.
    One day you'll get it.
    It's proven through decades of marriage counseling. If you and your spouse don't put each other first... your relationship will END. Because without you both staying together, there's NO "safe" home for your child.
    With that said... if course there will be times you both will have to put the child first...God forbid your child becomes sick and/or very ill.
    But without you two coming together, then staying together life will become more difficult for your children.

      Haha yea I think some men wouldn’t mind their wives staying in there for like a year
