@saveen3 The reporter was talking about global issues, and poverty in particular, and asked what changes he would make in his life as a rolemodel to norwegians who are getting increasingly materialistic, since he is in such a privileged situation himself :)

He was rude, a mildly-harsh reaction wouldn't be uncalled for.
He commented that the crown prince enjoys an unearned 'cool guy' status with certain flocks of students, partly because they perceive him as tolerant, and suggested that he could begin earning his repuation by donating to some humanitarian (and I suppose extra tolerant) cause. He closes with remarking that it would be a particularly meaningful gesture in the face of materialism, as it would be done by an excessive materialist like himself.
The crown prince attempts to babble together a couple of phrases that people usually seem to find agreable, but when he realizes that he wasn't exactly clear on why those popped up in his head, he's too far gone and must pull the classic 'just continue talking until it connects somehow please'.
Might seem like good willed and humoured bantering to some, but they'd be wrong; that reporter is of a certain type we've better learned to recognize in the last few years.

@norsewarrior77 Shes very good for him and the rest of the royal family, She got her feet on the ground, the past should'nt be a problem, it should be left in the past. You have also problems, we all have, no human are perfect.

People who don't know Norway an dits people should shut the heck up. While I am Canadian and Love Queen Elizabeth had the British expectations that Charles marry a woman "without a reputaiton"nhe would have married Camilla to begine with and saved us a lot of drama. Crown Princess Mette -Mariet may have made mistakes but no one I repeat should apoligise for a life. People who are not Norwegian citiiznes have no right to critiize Norway. and its royal family
