- FACT presents 13 Years of Reloads, a documentary on legendary grime event Eskimo Dance.
Eskimo Dance has been at the centre of grime for, well, 13 years: an event where legendary clashes took place, and reputations could be earned and lost in the space of minutes (for an indicator of its importance, even grime fans who’ve never been to Eskimo could probably rank their top 10 Eskimo Dance moments.)
In 13 Years of Reloads Edward Henry James looks at the event’s legacy and its importance to the genre, speaking to artists like Logan Sama and Footsie who’ve been there since the start. Music comes from Classical Trax and Liminal Sounds.

He said "that was ours" which is kind of true to a point as the mods and original skins really did adopt it and especially during the UK revival of ska in the 70's so it became a very British sound. Nobody is dumb enough to think or even imply that it originated here I don't think.

Dee Brown He rode a wave. Skepta, JME, and Stormzy were the ones saving the scene. He rode that wave and started some fake beef. Truthfully, though, Skepta doing it huge in USA, JME's album doing so well and Stormzy getting on the charts with a freestyle is what helped grime. That beef was welcome entertainment. Nothing more. And it's the young MCs like Big Zuu, Jay Amo, Nov, YGG, Rocks, Kwam, Mez, Mic Ty, AJ Tracy, Jammz, Square etc. that are saving grime
not saying it was just down to chip but he did play a big part and that benefits everybody

+Jose Rpsales basically when you're off your face on pills coke and loud you acheive a zen of perfect hype. The "PullUp"or "Reload" only adds to the tension of the club making everyone go "Woooi" or "Brrrrr" then they drop it again. also Ive heard it used like a preview into the next mix like they dropped some riddim pulled it back played a new riddim mixed it back into the first one pretty wild stuff.
