  • Sadie welcomes her grandparents, Johnny & Chrys Howard, also known as 2Papa & 2Mama. They delve into the history of the Howard family, which is more interesting and impactful than most people realize! 2Mama and 2Papa share advice on how to make marriage last for 52 years and counting, as they have, and explore the legacy of entrepreneurship and faith on both sides of Sadie’s family. Fans of "Duck Dynasty" will be delighted to learn how much of that show's success began with the Howards' business too! Sadie & Christian's book "How to Put Love First" is available now! bit.ly/46C0hyH

I liked the mention of 2Papa's father Alton. It was only recently that I leared that Alton Howard was Korie's grandfather. As lifetime member of the a capella Churches of Christ I have sung and lead songs from "Songs of the Church", and "Songs of Faith and Praise". I believe it is because of Alton Howard, that if anyone says "728B" in the Church of Christ most everyone will know we are talking about "Our God, He is Alive"!

Awesome! What a wonderful opportunity to learn more about your family, Sadie, and your history.
Your grandparents are lovely and have so much wisdom and congratulations to them for such a long and happy marriage, and thanking them for sharing their words of wisdom. They have such grace and peace over them. Don’t worry, Tupac, you didn’t say anything out of order LOL that’s usually me ha ha.
Congratulations on your new book, Sadie👏🏻🙌🎉🎉🍾🤗🥂
You radiate with the love of Jesus, Sadie, and so does your family. Thank you to all of you for not keeping the blessings from our father, to yourselves, but sharing them so generously with the rest of the world.
I hope to sign the guest book in your grandparents home one day. 🤝✍️😄
    Much love from England 🥰xx

It was incredibly interesting to learn from/about your Mom's parents, finally, Sadie❣️
Wow! What amazing things God has been doing through your family, as a whole‼️
If 2Papa and 2Mama hadn't learned about the publishing industry; the Duck Commander Website wouldn't have been created so soon❣️🦆

I have to say I don’t agree with the statement that this generation just doesn’t want to work hard. In this time it is extremely challenging to get by with everything increasing but wages. People who are making 100k a year are still living paycheck to paycheck. It’s not for a lack of effort. It just seems out of touch when you come from a family that is wealthy on both sides and don’t actually have to worry about making ends meet.

They Never said that they didn't have very difficult seasons in their lives.
They had to make a decision to get some thing started from the very beginning of it's conception‼️
Their "Warehouse Priced Shop" began as one individual Shop, just like Walmart, Kmart, etc.‼️
Then, some time after they had moved on; they actually sold some of their Warehouse Shops to places, like Walmart, etc.‼️

Don't fall for the lie that Moms don't have time to spend focused time with the Lord. If we give ourselves that excuse or any excuse, we will not spend that time. I fell for it and it has been detrimental to every area of my life. Yes. We should spend all day, every day walking in the Spirit. But I really feel that focused, freewill offering puts our armour on, sets the tone, gives us a game plan, and gives us a verse or two to be meditating on throughout the day. I've been amazed at the growth I see in instagram moms I follow that get up before their kids do (or when their infants do) to seek the Lord. Having a newborn, yes there's grace, but look for ways to listen to audio Bible or read while you nurse, read aloud and pray while they play at your feet etc. For 30 years, I didn't do this because we Moms give ourselves and each other an out. Of course, we don't have to do anything. Freewill gives us a choice. Choose yo be Mary over being Martha. Choose to be a wise virgin storing up oil.

Well I think that “this generation” gets burnt out and doesn’t work as hard is because they don’t love what they do and they don’t enjoy what they do. And I think older generations didn’t have AS many hobbies or interests and things they love to spend their time doing, so work was their main focus. This generation has love and passion for LOTS of things but it’s not always easy turning that into a job. And they do have to work to make money and that’s what happens when you do that, you get tired of it.
