I'd love it if you found the highlight where Brady runs the ball and then gets tackled by Ray Lewis and hops right up in his face! I was watching that game with my dad I think it was the AFC championship game the year before or the year after the ravens won the Super Bowl. No wait... it was the Billy Cundiff game!!!!

I remember that game lol. It was a heated exchange between two guys who are super competitors and it happens. They both admitted they were wrong and both found it funny in the end. What’s crazy is people who think Brady was more in the right than O’Brien. Brady admitted it wasn’t the WR’s fault, and that he should have never done that, he was just pissed he threw a INT and IMMATURELY handled it. O’Brien was holding him accountable for being immature, and he was 100% right for that. Brady escalated it further and decided to die on that hill. O’Brien backing down at that point would be ignoring their rank in the organization. He is Tom’s superior in the hierarchy of organizational leadership, because he is his coordinator. The only person above him on that field is Belichick, not Brady. And beyond that, it’s really just Kraft. So if your name isn’t Kraft or Belichick, Tom’s actions are reprehensible and being played down because of who he is. You’re all playing yourself taking Tom’s side and looking like the sad little fanboys you are.
Don’t let Skip convince you the quality of the WR, QB, or coordinator matters here. Sometimes things are as simple as accountability being held.

That stuff happens all the time everywhere in the league, but it was a big deal because the Pats rarely show it. It wasn't a great idea, but Brady's sixth sense was amazing. He knew somehow he had to force it in there. Eyes in the back of his head. Skip is still working, so I guess he's right, but I don't agree. The best line was by O'Brien saying, "hey that play's over." Belichick would have brought him back but was afraid he would lose him after a year or two.

With the benefit of hindsight: hard to believe that after watching this footage, Brady actually WANTED O'Brien to succeed Bill Belichick back in 2017. The cracks in the relationship were already there at that time, with the two arguing more frequently. Kraft himself also had issues with Belichick, with some unsavory language directed at the latter by the former. It took two more years before it actually happened, but the split was all but inevitable; it was only a matter of when, not how.

      1. Bill O Brien is the most successful Belichick diciple as his own man as a HC. Only one with a winning record
      2. If you take Belichicks best QB away in 9 yrs withouut Brady - he has made playoffs twice (22%)
In 3 withiut Watson - his best Qb - O'Brien made playoffs 2 times and even won a playoff game vs Oakland in 2016 (66.66%)
      3. Check the record of Patriots offense when O'Brien was the play caller back in 2010 and 2011. It was amazing. In 2010 they barely turned the ball over. Had like 400 consecutive pass attmepts eithout a turnover by Brady
      4. Now in Alabama it was the first yr ever they had a QB throw for 4000, RB go for 1000 and 2 WRs go for 1000 last yr with him as the OC
The man can coach. He can really coach offense. He knows how to do it and Brady understands that. Thats why he wanted him. In a yr when His Alabama contract expires there will be many suitors looking for him in the Nfl as a OC or HC.
Titans will want him as an OC
      Patriots as well
      Buffalo Bills
Probably the Buccaneers if Leftwich leaves and Brady stays
      He can coach offense.

Has Tom Brady ever had the reputation for losing his cool and yelling/blaming his receivers during a game? No. Does Tom Brady, on occasion, yell at a (usually inexperienced) young receiver for screwing up a fundamental aspect of route-running or positioning himself incorrectly and not fighting hard for a contested catch? Yes.
We saw Tom do this during his last 2019 season with the Pats when the promising draft pick N'Keal Harry routinely failed to make his cut at a db's toes and then allowing the defender to position himself for a pick. Harry almost seemed to give up on the catch and get bullied out of position. That type of pass catching 101 fail would always drive Brady nuts. More often than not, Brady would offer immediate constructive criticism in the form of a stinging vocal rebuke usually heard by all. This has always been Tom Brady's style with inexperienced receivers. Ask any Patriot or Buccaneers receiver who went on to become important weapons in Tom's arsenal. They will ALL tell you that 1) that they deserved the rebuke, and 2) that Tom's particular intebse gametime coaching

motivated them all to want to level up to his expectations which they all quickly did.
Ask any receiver whether they'd rather have gone thru the Brady Bootcamp or, instead, keep making the same mistake(s) until Brady loses complete trust in them. A no brainer when they have the chance of becoming one of the GOAT's go to receivers.
Another example we've seen repeatedly during the last two years with the Bucs. How many times have we seen Brady get in Mike Evans, and others, faces about not "running thru" a pass route just because they see a db ahead? How many interceptions, and near interceptions, were made because a Bucs receiver failed to push a db "off his spot"? Too many. Brady didn't have time to wait for the next practice to coach his receivers up. Not when you are 43, 44 y.o. and trying to "run it back". Hell no. This is exactly how the original great QB player-coach Peyton Manning ran his offense.
O'Brien had NO BUSINESS getting between Brady and his young receiver (2 total NFL plays). If he hadn't butted into Brady's coaching moment, the entire episode would never have happened. Brady would have made his point and let it go.
Unfortunately, this happened when it was clear that BB's ego was too huge to allow Tom Brady to become the GOAT QB player-coach he was always destined to be. No Buccaneers coach WOULD HAVE EVER gotten between Tom Brady and one of his redeivers. The only exception was AB and we know how that ended.

@@TBDtribute Just luv your dedication, the way you've chronicled for posterity, the Legend of Tom Brady. In fact, don't think for a moment that the GOAT, himself along with his family, don't appreciate and look forward to each new installment. Perhaps you've already been told this by Tom Brady himself but are too humble to mention the AUTOGRAPHED, GAME/PRACTICE WORN JERSEY that unexpectedly came your way. If it hasn't, MAYBE IT WILL as you truly deserve one! (Personally, the extent of my own devotion to the GOAT has been my twice-daily internet searches for any/all news about TB12, a ritual I've adhered to for 5+ years now....Currently, I've got my eye out on 'real estate' chatter in the Bay Area (SF, sorry Tampa!) and Nashville...lol)
So, thank you for doing this for ALL fans of the Living Legend, Tom Brady!

I don't know why other channels are allowed and I'm not. I do know many channels that have been deleted after 6-8 months and then they have to start again. I've had my channel deleted twice. It's a lot of hard work and using those filters requires a lot more time and effort. I'd rather not use it cause it's so much more work and it's not enjoyable for the viewer.

    • @TBDtribute
      @TBDtribute  2 роки тому

The reason why you don't hear about other channels being deleted is cause they just disappear after being deleted. I've been deleted twice and if it happens again, I won't be starting another channel. There's just too much work, I don't get paid, and at times it's really hurtful getting accused of these filters
