Most bobbins these days are designed to be both free running and have the option of clipping to the line if needed. The Jag bobbins only clip to the line which is a major flaw in design IMO. Given the price of these things, how could you not have a free running version?

I would say most bobbins are better, and more versatile for less than a third of the price.
