I love your statement about modifying a spell to make it more personal. I find myself frequently using Yu-Gi-Oh cards (such as The Seal of Orichalcos and the Egyptian God Cards) for added symbolism just because of how deeply I connected with the game and show as a kid and it has been surprisingly effective.
I love that your brother thought to gift you that for christmas. Very ironic. I have christian beliefs and been called to learn for healing but that religious indoctrination makes is uncomfortable. Great work. I really loved this video. 🥰👌🙏🏼
After watching this, I can finally understand why I've been having a hard time working with the goetic demons even tho I was so drawn to them, I'm just really ungrounded emotionally
I’ve been getting a lot of downloads to keep it personal and intuitive, but I feel a little frozen at the moment so I’m seeing what will happen if I reach out. I just kind of figured out what’s been going on for a couple years now and while I’m thrilled I’m not crazy, I am very aware that if I get too excited and expose my psyche to the wrong things at the wrong time it could be way too much to come back from. I know The Goetia is going to come up for me, I *know* it’s something I need to do the sooner the better, but I’m also getting a lot of warnings from my guide to be very careful in how I navigate from this understanding. I’m going to spend some time rooting/grounding myself in my lineage/heritage/I’m not quite sure how to respectfully describe it. The UA-camr Lora O’Brien has been a great resource in that respect and has hours and hours and hours of material for me to digest, which is a little overwhelming but I went from not knowing where to look to having an abundance of legitimate resources, so I’m not complaining lol. One of the advices I’ve heard from that channel is to start with the folklore, so that seems pretty aligned with what I feel my guide is telling me to do. However I’m also really eager to read the books I’ve heard about in your podcasts. Can you recommend some to start with? Bonus points if it could pair nicely if someone was also looking into their ties to indigenous folklore? Something that won’t send me over the edge, and also if u could verify the authors? I figure I should start with The Kybalion, The Hermetica, and The Qabalah. Thank you very much! I’ve been loving your content and it’s really helping me understand what’s going on. Very glad I’m not just crazy lol. I’ve been talking with something for several years but am just now figuring out what’s going on (episode 21 is very very similar to my story). I asked for help, I got some help lol.
Honestly I'm not the best person to answer here because that was not my experience. I believe maybe Scarlet Raven Wood has a video on this topic, though.

Karl Jung valued astrology.
How do I get into magic as a teenager living in a Christian household?
