- In this episode I get the allotment well manured. In preparation for planting Sweetcorn, Pumpkins and Cabbages on the plot. The horse manure is a little bit fresher than I would of liked. Fingers crossed its not to potent for this years crops. I'm hoping nitrogen hungry crops will thrive. Time will tell I suppose. I also break out my favourite cultivation tool. The single tine cultivator from Hoss Tools.

Not a paid promotion. Just a tool I really find useful.
Good job, Wayne! I love my single tine cultivator, too. I also wish you lived closer or that I had the money to do it - I would send you my Mantis 4 cycle tiller - it weighs about 24 lbs and is great for tilling in compost. I've outgrown it having moved to a larger property, but It would be perfect for your garden.
Thank you Carol. That would be lovely wouldn’t it. But such is life. To be fair the hand digging is about as much exercise as I get. So doesn’t really do me any harm. Your garden is coming along a treat isn’t it. And what a great plumber you have to till your plot too. What a fabulous human being.
@@wayneeighteen Yes, he is a great guy. Charges reasonable for plumbing, too!
