@@jeffreydillingham7630 Yup. Initially, I thought gramps' skins was peeling off as he was decomposing due to having returned as an undead, until he suddenly uttered ,'Grandma!', and then it suddenly hit me hard right in the feels.
@@jeffreydillingham7630 - If Grandma hadn't died so soon after, the Grandson would have had to dress up as Grandpa for years. And what if Grandma wanted a long romantic kiss?? That's why the concept doesn't work.
This episode make me think of my grandparents, I miss them both so much.

I remember this show as a kid. Oh how I miss my childhood...
I thought about this episode for 30 years! Thanks for posting it!
I was 15 years old when this showed first aired it was the best thing on tv back then.
Next to Amazing Stories " The Mission " ... "Grandpa's Ghost" is one of my favorite and best episode. So touching.
This creeped the living hell out of me when he was tearing off his skin. The hole episode gave me the creeps even though it was touching
That scene at the end, when Andrew McCarthy removes his old man's make up has stayed with me for 30 years, what a beautiful ending.
Touching and creepy @ the same time
this breaks my heart but he was such a good boy omg really hurts :(
Love this so much

I thought this was the stupidest shows during the 80s. My boyfriend loved it.
To me. I didn't understand it. It didn't give the creeps. It confuse me. When his skin was pealing off. I didn't understand the cause of it.
The grandson was dressing up as his grandfather because his grandmother couldn't accept that he died.
