Solid walkthrough and tips. Would love to see a walkthrough of a migration from another email provider, like Microsoft 365 or Gmail, using a custom domain. Thanks!
Well done! Exactly what I needed and worked perfectly. Even calling Apple produced no actionable assistance. Question: I am used to having separate “accounts” in my mail client on my mac. Now the new domain is in with iCloud. At first, I am not comfortable with this as I like to have all of my email mailboxes separate and not together. Do you have any recommendations to keep the different domains separate? Hope this makes sense.
Hello Vikash, your opinion is very important as we have very poor information on the net about this offer and very few reviews. With the time, what do you think honestly speaking about this solution compared to an external host with domain and email.... Can you make a very quick feedback, I hv to take the decision by tomorrow
I'm trying to do this with a Godaddy domain, When I am in the add existing email address or set up later window, I do set up later, but I only have 3 steps. I don't have that update your domain registers settings. It just goes to finish and then just keeps me waiting. I waited 24 hours the first time and now nothing is working
I am not using outlook but it should be able to pull down the custom e-mail adressen and let you choose the primary one. At least on MacOS mail app it does

The only option i can think of is use sorting rules in your mailclient or icloud webmail.
thank you. very helpful!

It depends on your needs. This setup is perfectly fine for home users I believe
Damn Thanks!
Thank you
Great video but do you know how can i have separate inboxes for each custom email. all my emails comes in same inbox. its very confusing
I suppose you can set up specific rules to sort those out.
THAT'S A LENGTHY PROCESS THO
I would ask for your hand in marriage if you could remake this and explain it like we’re 5yros.❤
what about buying new domain? what is the price range?
Depends on the provider/ hoster and the several options you can choose.
Hello, i have done everything but they say "Mx problem" but the both MX is correct
Those are alias, and they are not telling it anywhere. This means that it's trash and impossible to use.
You didn't explain how we sign into the email. You did do an excellent tutorial. One of those people that has a short attention span.
Sign into email is still with your iCloud account credentials

Add the records manually on godaddy
Very helpful. Can you do this also with iCal?
The custom email will also work with events you are setting up in ical
Is it possible to do this on the outlook app?
