Ruby you are so amazing and work so hard. The amount of interviews and talks about mental health you have given on UA-cam is incredible and have helped so many people keep going don't ever slow down
The phrase Ruby is quoting I believe comes originally from Lama Choedak Rinpoche. It goes like this "Pain is inevitable, but suffering is optional" Great discussion, very much needed in these time impoverished days. hope there is more of it to come.
I have enjoyed ‘ Frazzled’ . A great read for people from all walks of life. Why not give the happy trio a read and decide for yourself? A great 👍 insight from different perspectives 😃
It is interesting how "compassion" is put forward as a cure for one's own suffering, which is true, but in regards to "the Buddhist" formula of dependent origination, one starts with Loving Kindness (as it is translated) which is more accurately translated as "friendship". Friendship for ones self and others, is the basis for happiness, and then "compassion" is offered, as an extension of also wishing ones self, and others to be free of all sufferings. Hence "Pain is inevitable, but suffering is optional". To whom it may concern.

A host, two people frantically giving useful information, and Thubton at peace. He has a name.
Really good energy with these 3 in conversation all with fantastic and complementary perspectives. Ruby of course is wonderful.

@@Hassanthehorse is there a cure medication free for schizophrenia?
Ruby has written more than "...previous 2 books". What about the brilliant "How do you want me?" Arguably her best. The host should do her research.
The book you mentioned is not to do with the subject matter. The host was correct not to blow her trumpet louder, she does that very well herself.
What they are missing is the gut brain axis. This is key. Maintained by gut bacteria. Kefir is the key.
Kefir ♡
I got here via a Loose Women clip. Ruby was promoting the book and it had just come out. But this clip is from a year earlier?
