Thank you so much for watching
Excellent Review of Oud! I prefer Oud and Rose scents to be animalic. When paired alone or with fruits, I prefer the dark woody deep variant. A chemist once told be how they do animalic or non-animalic depends on whether it is converted in an anaerobic or aerobic environment. It made sense mentally when he told me that (being that the bacteria would add the anamalic notes), but I don't know if this is true or apocryphal. Cheers!🎉🎉🎉😊
Great review. If you don't mind me asking, which country are you from?
Thank you! I am from Portugal
At the moment I found oud uniqueness combination from two different worlds:
[1st] - Al Andalus - by Moresque
[2nd]- 2022 Generation Homme - by Stéphane Humbert Lucas 777
I don’t think any of the fragrances listed in this video has any Oud. They have a note of Oud, that is to say, they have chemicals which tentatively smell like Oud. But not real Oud. Given the initial (correct) definition of Oud mentioned in the beginning of the video, I believe it should have been mentioned that these fragrances do not have real Oud. Very few do given its high price (Areej Le Dore, Bortnikoff, Ensar Oud etc).
