      I'm no expert in this but I did do my own research. This will depend on the individual, if they can't consume heaty food then they are encouraged to remove seeds. I personally have a 'cool' body, so I think it helps to balance out overall soup. 😊

    this's the 1st time I see rubbing end of 老黄瓜 before boiling !

      This was passed down from my Mum, I'm lazy I would love to reduce steps if possible too. According to research, rubbing ends reduces cucurbitacins which causes the bitter taste. It is totally alright to not do it too. Do whichever that is comfortable for you. 😊
