- Living in Mexico for 3 months! Although we never intended to travel during these times, we had every intention on making sure we would not be separated again. Mexico allowed us to live here as we waited to go back to Canada. Here’s some of what happened.

Just got back from Mexico yesterday, so I totally agree with the huge thank you to Mexico for leaving their doors open to us foreigners. It was a magical time there and I advise anyone who can to definitely go visit. Tourism is the backbone of so many towns there. Just take precautions and be respectful of the changing rules and the locals will welcome you with open arms. Looking forward to more content from you guys

I agree about the fact some Countries the citizens lives depend solely on tourism industry. While some say people shouldn't be traveling, I say it's been a year and enough is enough, we know the target population. We cant live our lives locked down forever.If it wasn't for people like this couple supporting the local's of Oaxaca, it's hard to say where the locals would be at, with no government assistance. Im going to mexico city in spring break, end of March. Cant wait!
@@kaylaschregardus4062 Exactly. In my time there, I met so many Mexicans who told me how hard Corona hit them. I understand why restrictions are in place, but I also believe that with the right precautious, we can still safely travel without fear of rapid spread of the virus.
@@lostsura exactly. Covid deaths are actually going way down. Media though always has ways to instill fear. The whole "new strain ", most people don't even know how they works in a virus, so they fear what the media puts out.
As a Oaxacan, I can say most of us would rather not have tourists. And it’s frustrating that people from the US only care about our economy or well being when they benefit from it.
I start probiotics daily a week b4 Mexico and take them every night b4 bed and I no longer get sick anymore. Glad you guys had an awesome trip.

Y'all may have had Giardia. Wormwood tincture is a good one to have with you whenever you travel. Just add a drop to any water or food you consume. It is bitter, thus why you only need a drop of it.

Nah, the food is fire in Oaxaca! LOL yall legit didn't go to the fire spots. There's a place called Hotel Sin Nombre that's an all-vegan tasting menu. It's a whoooooole vibe!!! Sad you both didn't get a chance to try it.

We were in Mexico last year and absolutely loved it! Good that you could find a country that could accommodate you both - must be hard being on different passports when travel is so restricted. Looks like you had some awesome adventures!
