Ya know, as much as many Who fans dislike Roger, he has over the years become the best voice of the band. Pete, while entertaining, can't be trusted to remember well. Roger is just a great guy in retrospect. And I love how he never downtalks Keith.

"...the stupid singer..." HARDLY! As his book a few years later will attest, Roger is anything but stupid. He may have felt like he was...in a band where all four competed for genius, it must have been hard to maintain confidence. But Rog is bloody brilliant.
