Thanks Flora. I always get very confused about pruning raspberries! That makes it clear about the autumn fruiting ones but what about the earlier fruiting ones? Should they have been cut down too or left as they are? I haven’t cut any down yet! Thank you for any advice 😀
Hi Julie, For the summer fruiters, you can cut back every fruiting cane as soon as it’s over. If you haven’t done any pruning yet, then you can tell this years from last years by the colour of the wood- brown and woody means cut back, green and young looking means tie in- it will bear fruit next year!
