Thanks for the video! All the tech at CES is overwhelmingly awesome. Heybike is bringing a whole new meaning to Electric bikes! Seeing these in person really put into reality for me that this planet is moving toward all electric and there’s no stopping it. I looove the look of these bikes!
I recently bought the Tyson for commuting (at Class 3 speeds) and the occasional trail rides (locked at Class 2 speeds). As a visually impaired rider potentially with POTS (diagnosis pending further evaluations), riding an e-bike is the safest and least strenuous exercise option for me, given recent incidents of nearly passing out. After recovering from some mild-moderate mobility issues as an ambulatory wheelchair user, riding an e-bike brings with it a sense of freedom I have not felt since I had to start using a wheelchair in early October.
I am glad you are enjoying and this helps. Please wear protection and be safe out here. This is a great option and in 1 week at CES I will unveil new models that I thin will help more and make your freedom and experience more enjoyable.
Would love to know how you think the Heybike compares to other top rated models like the Vitalin i7. As someone who’s still shopping around and eager to make an informed choice in a very noisy market, your guidance is always super helpful!
Even though I prefer an all black bike, I really like the color scheme on that blue and white one, it reminds me of my first "bmx" bike from when I was 6.... Super cool bikes in a great video, thank you. 😁
@@ElectricVehicleSpace - Little do we know, we're the oddballs in this situation.... I love all matte black bikes but sometimes the colorful ones just look really, really good. I wish they would do an optional accent color like an all black frame w/ red accents or something.... I already have a color scheme of black, red and white on all my tattoos and my BMX is like that too, now I just need a really awesome electric bike to add to the collection. 😁
Yo, I'm the registration clerk and I work at the convention center both for other companies and for the place itself. It was cool finding this video. I saw you both alot there lol. Funny enough I was actually just looking for the best electric bike to find on a budget because I need one for work. I usually take the bus. Either way cool seeing it from your perspective.
I agree with you but I spoke with the manufacturer directly and after this CES 2023 trip my re marks were noted and they will unveil a beast in March with upgrades that will make this ebike best folder. Just wait and see.
Your video convinced me to buy it. I'm also 220lbs and the speed you went up to on a diminished battery was great. Also the suspension on the rough streets in Vegas makes me feel at ease with offroading a little in south florida. The 4g is a huge bonus
Thanks bro. I’m sure the expo was fun. All the new ebikes look good from Heybike. Everybody stepping their game up. Dude, the breakdown you did of the Heybike along with the enthusiasm you expressed was impressive. If I were Heybike Chief I’d offer you a position in the company.🙂
I would like an ebike that can climb very steep hills easier.. I don't care about top speed as much.. 20 to 28 would be fine.. any suggestions? The black Tyson looks badass!
How hard would it be to put a half twist throttle on this bike? The thumb control is the only thing I don't like about it. Thanks for the informative video!
This bike is excellent and that neoprene sleeve covering the wires up front makes the bike look that much better I can see this e-bike in my future very cool
@@ElectricVehicleSpace good to know. I was leaning towards either a Heybike Ranger or Lectric XP, but may have to wait for more details on the Tyson. Looks really impressive.
It's a neat looking bike and the specs are good but it has 1 serious disadvantage for me - 35 kg weight. How do you even lift this thing.... Even with the magnesium frame, it's soooo heavy. Mate X is 27 kg with an aluminum frame, you replace the fork and it's close to 25 kg. Significantly lighter. I wouldn't want to risk breaking my back lifting this thing to place if in my car or get it through a balcony doorstep. You have a garage or something, then I guess it's good. You live in an apartment, you probably want to get something a lighter.
@@ElectricVehicleSpace 35 kg is a lot, really. Usually they pack cement in 25 kg bags, because this is what a typical person can lift and carry. 35 kg is 40% more. I wonder where all that weight comes from, and I'm betting on the alloy wheels, rack, and all the extras (lamps, fenders etc.)
I can't believe it I've been begging them for the last 2 years to come up with a 750 watt motor and they finally come up with one I would have bought one of these two years ago if they would have had a $750 watt motor but they just refuse to do it finally they woke up and listen to what the consumers have been begging them to do for years electric bike needs to do the same but they want to keep running all the 500 watt Motors that nobody wants
This ebike has a cool looking design. But for me it ends there. There website is missing many important specs. Is the 750watts nominal or peak? If nominal what is peak? What size cassette? Should always go down to 11 tooth for proper pedal assist. What size chainring? Should be minimum 52 tooth for proper pedal assist. What battery cells? 18650 or 21700? At current price i would have liked to see 52v and 21700 cells. Brakes? Not listed as well. For me a little under speced for the price. Top speed throttle only? Top speed with pedal assist? Way, way to much missing info. There are many brands that look very similar to this spec wise.(companies jumping up all over) wallke , vitilan , engwe . to name just a few of the many…. All very similar. With some of these basically coming from the same place ..Best thing to know more then anything else is how fast is this company with warranty issues?
All of the questions you are asking i posted and the information is there. You seem to ask for too much. It does not matter if it's 18650 or 21700. I just don't understand how you can compare the best with engwe that is at the bottom. Well to each their own. It comes down to research and level of knowledge and understanding at the end. I did my part and posted all of the info needed in my videos. You only need to watch.
I may review them in the following weeks but from what I tried on XP 3.0 it's very low power. It's great value but Tyson it is way more advanced and better looking bike.
@Electric Vehicles Space I'm not sure what you mean by "low power". The Lectric XP 3.0 Long Range is 1000W vs Tyson 750... The Lectric also has a higher top speed and can go class 3... The Lectric also has 10 more miles of range vs the Tyson. It's difficult to justify spending 40-50% more for a bike (the Tyson) when it's performance is just below that of the XP Long Range
@jcurling87 Lectric still a 500w motor that peaks up to 1000w with mechanical brakes. It's a good entry level bike but let's not kid ourselves about what they offer.
@Anthony G oh, nobody's being duped on what they offer. It's pretty clear. A bike at nearly half the price with almost identical capabilities...some much better on the Lectric
If the battery and motor is not branded, its not worth to pay 1700 dollars. Engwe is much better for 1299 pounds. Exactly the same. Tyson frame looks nice only nothing else. Too expensive if the battery is not branded.
There are so many more better bikes than engwe and you compared it to the top 3 ebikes in 2023. Engwe in power delivery and specs is over priced and it's on the bottom of my list in top 10 20 inch folders.
I will do a Heybike Tyson giveaway if we get 2000 likes on this video!

Check Vitilan i7pro that is the best option. Use the link and code to get the better price. Heybike will be the best second option.
Super cool new bike has everything I would want in a bike and great review as always!
Thanks! 👍
thank you...nice frame and harness layout... was disappointed in derailleur and power level.. very nice looking bike otherwise

wait to see the test video

I think without cover will look better but the wires will be hidden inside once production hits.
Be nice to see in action. Sure looks good.
There are clips we rode it in Las Vegas and much more.
Do you have any outlets available at Honolulu Hawaii i need to know where can I purchase a Tysons model bikes Mahalo customer
on their website. They ship world wide.
Great review on the Tyson bike. I think I am going to buy this over the Vitlan I7. Thoughts? Thanks again
Vitilan faster and more torque. they have not implemented my suggestions :(
So you would buy the Vitlan over this bike?
@@TrpleP Vitilan 100%
The Tyson is a really nice Ebikes
Yes it is but wait until you see the final review.
I'm going back to sleep..wake me up when they start making their bikes on a 52 volt system like the competition 🤦🏾♂️
I am glad you liked it.
Great looking bike! Only class 2 though (per Heybike website)? Could be a deal breaker for me. Looking forward to your review.
It's a mistake it's a class 3 and faster.

Good ebike option
Definitely the black...

8 kg is not a significant weight difference. If you can handle 27kg than 35 should not make much difference.

@@donwilson350 I will explain in the final Tyson review.
