I think heroes lvl reset is great if talents reset also, soo you can try new builds or solve mistakes in talents, also its catch mechanic for free to play, first season spenders can have maxed heroes almost imidietly, in season two, f2p players can have usable heroes imidietly too... so for me this is great

It's funny that people see this reset as a bad thing. It's far worse if a whale can roll up with maxed artifacts and heroes each season. The reset levels the playing field so that a whale can theoretically only be as leveled as you are -- at best. Often whales trade money for time, so you might have a level advantage.
Love your videos. Have helped me a lot. Got zeroed recently and had to resurge to continue playing without being under siege, but I'm still gaming. I like the idea of the season reset as putting people back on some sort of a level playing field. At some point money won't benefit people as much as it does early in the game. Love the game, thanks for the guides!
This is why I quit COD after playing for over a month. I'm the type who log in twice or thrice a day because of work and other responsibilities in real life. I love the game but in order to keep up with everything is too much for me so I turned back to playing ROK instead.
From standpoint of me playing lots of Chinese War game, I can tell you that season reset is the most fun thing in the game, it makes all players start fresh and provides more opportunities to start in new alliance, invoke new strategies, get to know new people and might be able to flip the disadvantages in the previous season. Trust me, it's fun.
and every time have to pay to grown so reset ur game is most shitty thing ever u mean. thrones: kingdom at war is the game without restart and thats pretty, but if u want a game with restart world then start Imperia Online
Reset system is stupid for Free to play players because spenders will level up their heros and artifacts quickly and as a Free to play player it takes ages to level them up, time waste in my case and I don't have that much time to spend on it again and again
I think Call of Dragons are onto something regarding resetting at Season-end, BUT, it feels like a little overkill as it stands right now. For example, gift level being reset seems crazy to me. I hope they're open to fine-tuning this because I think as it stands right now, it could end up being the thing that makes people quit the game overall.
Everyone seems to be missing that resetting heroes and artifacts is an anti-whale mechanism. Far worse if a whale can roll up with maxed commanders than how it works today, where activity is required.
@@Chisgule ya but chisgule why do they wipe the merits out i mean i have 1.4 million merits right now other people have 10,000. So at the start of season 2 there is absolutely nothing to show what i did in season 1. Thats crazy to me
You’re given rewards based off your merits at the end of the season they don’t go to waste they are just cleared so when the next season ends you get the correct rewards you deserve for that season.
I do like the map reset and the season rewards but I don't understand the hero and artifact level reset. I get that they wanna keep you engaged and active, it just feels weird to me. Guess I have to get used to that. I do hope though that they change the level reset at some point.
the one thing i absolutely hate is that they completely wipe the merits out. I mean there should be something that shows how hard you fight. I mean in ROK you can look at the ammount of days played vs the kill points and you get an idea if the player ur talking to is a t5 farmer or if hes a warrior. It makes no sense to wipe away the proof that a person battled hard in previous seasons. It really bums me out like people right now in season 1 dont even care about getting merits because they know that there getting wiped out anyway. :(
So if I starred a hero too early instead of waiting for 5 1 1 1, when the seaon resets, if i don't level him up past lvl 10, will I only be able ton only the first skill?
I feel like a good alternative to this would be after the season ending you get XP tomes and all of the other rewards equivalent to what you had before the season ended but gradually after a couple of weeks then people would still get their rewards back but whales would still have to log on consistently to get their stuff back

you are suppose to join an alliance and get ready to do event, behemots fight for territory. Only the strongest one that will survive phase 1 will be part of phase 2. This game is all about war and territory. Ofc if u just started its gonna take sometime before it happen
Really? When I first started it took me days before I could do nothing You need to explore the map, gather resources, drain your CP, Train units, upgrade buildings, research tech How you manage to log in and out that quick when upgrades go by fast at low levels is a little confusing
I did the classic huge mistake, i increased the star level of 3 hero before maxing their first skill, and worse they are 3 stars, so 3 skills... so i was counting on the reset so that i can fix it, but the stars are kept.... So i would like to know, if i keep my hero head for the next season and level them up before lv 10, what skill will be increased?

In call of dragons if you change fractions does your special troops carry over to the new fraction or do they swap out for the new fractions special troop ?

I can see first 21 servers were merged into 4 servers 7 per.. there’s 7 starting regions. Seems like kvk but a repeat of previous season just with 7 kingdom merge?
Only the level is reset, not skill level. So yes kinda since the first will only be available to level up. I don't think they give you the sculpts/tokens at the end of each season so you are locked into whatever skills you got
does research and buiilding get reset or do those carry over? sorry just one of the final things holding me back on the game...rest of the reseet stuff sounds fun
@@himori1982 no items get scrap. You just have to farm the dust and Manuel's again. You get a store and currency at season end. That would help get more artifacts for next season
The season doesn’t exist, everything that’s important , lol, like your time and money, gets deleted rofl 😂 All your hard work in game leveling up commanders gets deleted. Think about it, you grind out YSG in Rise of Kingdoms. Then after months of work, you wake up and your YSG went from level 60 to level 0, your archer equipment gets deleted lol 😂 , your armaments gets deleted, and you get to start over from scratch ! It’s so brilliantly dumb 😂 I appreciate Chisgules videos though. Not spending a dime now.

It sucks thst the top alliance only gets all the best stuff. Theres a whale only bullies one on my server. So in our servers case the bullies win the f2p and slam dunk them all out of the game
So it makes since they want to cut out the whales and krakens being able to run servers until they wanna stop playing it makes like one of those choose your path story's after a season anything can happen anyone can jump to alliance turn to make a bottom of the list alliance the best one
@@Chisgule That sucks. Each tree is too large to be filled in one season. I was misinformed that we kept talent points earned. Very unfortunate, would have allowed for a lot more hero customization.

Yes, season timer is lots of places, it's usually 70 days from start of the server

their appearance is random. Only way to increase your chances is perhaps not sending them out of your city? But I'm not sure.
