And when isometric view is asked u have to use true lengths.

Those lines are hidden lines.....
In the isometric view its not visible directly as it lies behind the triangular surface.
But still, i have made it to give that view a realistic appeal.
I hope this clears your doubt.

Had this been an isometric projection problem, in that case we would have to take the isometric lengths i.e with the help of an Isometric scale.
