Heimdall was my favorite fight. Dunno why Kratos got sad over killing him, even gave Heimdall chances to walk away, but Heimdall would only continue his pursuit as to reclaim his honor in his or Kratos' death.

If you don't feel some kind of regret after killing another person, then there's something deeply wrong with you. Kratos is no longer the relentless killing machine he once was, he's found his sensitivity again, thanks to his son and his wife, he is in touch with his emotions again, and doesn't take death lightly anymore, he has strengthen his empathy.
