  • The bible is not in order as the events happened from Genesis until Revelation. This video will place all the books and events in a timeline order to better grasp the linear story. Please like, share, and subscribe so I can continue to connect the Word of God.
The bible is the inerrant Word of God, on this channel we believe that the Bible is the truth. Although it was written by 40 different human authors, there was one common ghost writer and that is The Holy Spirit which inspired all of them. This channel tries to stay away from theology but instead focuses on a unique Bible Study approach by connecting the bible as a whole book using tools such as typology, parallelisms, and multiple-layered contextualized connections. Yes, God can operate on different levels at the same time, to mean more than one thing at the same time.
I enjoy a deep dive Bible Study, and always will cite scripture to back up the conclusions.

I have completed the bible in order once. But, having a concordance truly does help. We need to read daily. I do miss a few days each week. Reading the bible is life changing.

You should read it like a historical novel, more than once. You will find new things everytime you read it. I like to simply start with Genesis and go through to Revelations. Job actually is the oldest and should be read either first or separately. It breaks the Narative otherwise. Some books that are not in Protestant bibles were in the Scriptures in Jesus time because He quotes some of it, but be careful of extra biblical, outside the canon, because some was just made up and there are reasons they didn't get in the bible. There are old books that cover the time between the Old and New Testament that are ok. 1st and 2nd Maccabees. The cover the history of the Jews up to an including some of the Roman times. Explains how the Romans got control of the Holy Land. They were invited 🙄

Reading the scriptures all the way through in order really helps put familiar passages into context and better helps us use them in context, not everything applies all the time to everyone. Good job.

You're so welcome, you'll find this is the best way to see the whole story cover to cover and the way I read it. I've been thinking about amending this video to have Paul's letters interspersed within the Book of Acts. His theology became more entrenched through all his missionary journeys so reading the letters in the exact order they were written in would capture how his theology became to be. But other than that, this is good.
I truly came to Christ about 5 years now, I remember the wonderful feeling well. It's beyond any words that I can express. I am glad to welcome you as a brother. God Bless.

Sure, my name is Randy and I'm a devout Christian. I surrendered my life to Christ under 10 years ago. I always believed in God and grew up in the church, but like so many others lived my life for myself. I didn't realize how far away from God I was.
There was so much going on in my life when I started to think about my life in general so when there was a tragedy in the family that I took time to look to answers from God. And I found the answers when I found God. He wasn't lost, I found out I was. It's like everything clicked into place in my life when I came to Him. When I had an experience with God(it felt like Jesus was hugging me) and realized that He was calling me, I describe that moment as the most beautiful moment in my life. I cried for 10 minutes, it was that beautiful.
I started to read the Bible voraciously, sometimes 10-12 hours a day. And when I started to see the parallels that I talk about, the Bible opened up in a way that it hadn't before. It was a process of learning but it looked like bread crumbs in the stories that God left behind for people to connect together. I'll speak about it often in my videos, I'd love for other Christians to look at the Bible the same way I do. In fact when I started to apply the parallels as a methodology, the prophecies started to make sense. And everything seems to connect together perfectly.
I'm an ecumenical Christian and am vexed at the division in the Church today. I don't see how God wanted it this way. And I will talk about that in the videos as well. Every Christian believes that Jesus will come again, I think we are the generation that will see end times. And all my recent videos are focusing on the tribulation to come. If I'm right, then its coming very soon. And if I'm wrong I'll say so in the videos.
That's generally a good statement, there's more but you should get a good sense of me from that. Thanks for watching and glad you like the parallels as I do. God Bless

This is wonderful. Thank you so much. I have purchased the Rise Chronological Guide to the Bible which has been a wonderful study tool as well. It has so many interesting elements to it like biblical archeological finds as well as the family tree from Adam and Eve all the way to Jesus. It also lists the major and minor prophets as well so if you like you can study each one in depth. Also, it lists all of the great women of the Bible so you can study individually as well.
I do have one question or request on this video, it has to do with the audio. Have tested this video on my cell phone as well as lap top and for some reason I am finding it difficult to hear you clearly. There is an echo like you are in a well or tin can for some reason. At first I thought it was my phone but when I checked my laptop it was the same. Perhaps it is a slight adjustment to fix it but of it is too much trouble then I totally understand and please just ignore my request for fixing it. I just feel that your video is such an important video I want to make sure many people can hear it properly.
Thank you so much for sharing your channel with us, I am a huge fan.

Wow nice job! It's amazing the Bible puts itself together if we let it.
I don't know if you agree with this or not, but Jeremiah tells seraiah to hi throw a copy of his book into the river euphrates, and Ezekiel later that year starts his prophecy, i don't have it figured out how Daniel and Ezekiel fit together, as Daniels history starts when he is very young and yet Ezekiel seems to be the next prophet after Jeremiah. Any comments? Thank you.

It's widely believed that Daniel was taken in the first wave of exiles. Then in the second wave, Ezekiel was taken. Those Books are key, because God had already started not only planning for Jesus Christ, but end times as well.

Can you tell me from personal experience what benefits you have received and noticed by reading Gods holy word front to back? I have just studied it but i have never read it from cover to cover, (although i want to). Not many do this (reading Gods word all the way through), or consistently do this as it is always believed that studying it is better than reading, but i had a thought that if someone continuously read Gods word, then they would learn a lot throughout those journeys, but i don't know as i lack experience in the reading realm. would love to hear your thoughts on this

    • @connectingthebible-deeperb5680
      @connectingthebible-deeperb5680  Рік тому +1

Sure, there are different ways to interpret scripture and I would say the most popular is exegesis. I prefer a different method and I'll try to explain it this way. I want to see the story of the bible through God's point of view. And the way I do that is trying to put all the books and stories into a more linear order. Why was God doing what He did, with His chosen people, with Abraham, with His prophets? If you read Isaiah, then you should get to know what was going on in the Book of Kings during that specific time period.
Also, if you accept the bible as truth, then when you see the story from God's point of view you can also get a glimpse into the dark forces of Satan trying to stop God's perfect plan. I'm focusing on more end times videos lately because I think we are there. The Book of Revelation draws upon the parallels that happened in the Old Testament Books. For example the locusts in Revelation is paralleled in the Book of Joel. But you should also know what was happening with the Kings in the Southern Kingdom of Joel's time.
So basically reading the bible in chronological order helps me see the linear progress of history through God's point of view. And also Satan's attempts to stop it. I see these as moves and counter moves between Satan and God. Both God and Satan knows how this will end, and how does Satan try and stop it.
Hope this helps explain the benefits of reading the bible chronologically in order. And it is the Living Word, you will get more out of it, the more you read it. The Bible is a love story by God to us and how He gets us to our promised land of Heaven is a great overall story. God Bless

Thank you brother for this amazing video! I’ve Already read samuel and kings and I’m going through the prophets. But I’m getting conflicting messages from everyone regarding the chronology of these 3 books: Jeremiah, Baruch and Lamentations.
Can you tell me the order of these 3 books in the context of the content of these books. Not in the order of date of composition. I would really appreciate it.

    • @connectingthebible-deeperb5680
      @connectingthebible-deeperb5680  Рік тому +2

Those 3 books are about similar time but I would read them in this order.
Jeremiah, because you need to see the warnings coming from God toward the end of the Southern Kingdom.
Then I would read Baruch as he was a scribe of Jeremiah, it wouldn't really help to read Baruch before Jeremiah because you don't get the sense of time before the fall of the Southern Kingdom and the warnings coming from God. Plus since he was a scribe of the Prophet Jeremiah, his story makes more sense after you read Jeremiah.
Then I would definitely read Lamentations last of these 3 sets of Books. It is a really sad book. It is talking about the fall of Jerusalem after the fact. It is a really sad book, I did a video that referenced it, the Alpha and the Omega.
So in my opinion you should read as
      Jeremiah
      Baruch
      Lamentations
That should give you a good sense toward the end and then after the end of the fall of Jerusalem. God Bless

Do you read the apocryphal, book of Enoch, dead sea scrolls etc?

I've only read Enoch once. I tend to stay away from non-canonical books since we cannot know faithfully that they are infallible like the Books from the Bible. I think of it this way, if God wanted Enoch in the Bible, it would have been in the Bible.
Now that doesn't mean there can't be truth within the Book of Enoch, I just don't rely on it for research as others do.

I would like to ask what is your faith, what you believe, and teach as your faith? Do you recognize any books outside of the Bible? Do you follow a trinitarian theology? Do you follow torah? Do you adhere to any specific teachers or teachings? What is your doctrinal basis?

I'm a devout Christian, Jesus is my Lord and Savior. I am not a Pastor, I do belong to a Church. This channel is my ministry to serve God. I want people to love God the way I love God through His amazing connections.
I hope you don't mind if I decline to state which Church I belong to, I am troubled by the division we see in the Church today. I don't think this was God's plan in anyway. On the Channel, I largely stay away from theological and doctrinal debates that causes so much division. If commenters ask about theology and doctrine, I usually will try to steer them back to their respective Churches. My focus is just on the connections and parallels and the lessons that can be learned from those connections.
I am a Trinitarian believer in the Godhead, three persons yet 1 God. And will try to stay within the Bible for my studies as I believe that the Word is infallible. I know many others will bring up Books like Enoch and Jubilees for example, but I tend to stay clear of them because I cannot make the case of their infallibility. I am not saying there cannot be truth in them, just we cannot just know it as fact.
I am employing a relatively new methodology, that has been used in certain circumstances by others, but I am employing it universally both looking backwards and forwards. And the Prophecies have opened up because of this methodology. Whether it becomes truth will be known in the future. And if proven wrong by the events in the world today, will say so publicly. Since this is relatively new applying this method broad-based, I listen to what others say, but cannot say anyone has picked up the angle of interpretation that I use. So I do not follow the teachings of anyone specific. I think this helped me as a blank slate and not burdened by what others think and I would be prone to pre-conceptions to the stories.
Hope this helps explains your questions. I hope to help people love God the way I do. These connections are amazing and all glory goes to God for His Word. I'm just a servant. God Bless

And a wonderful servant you are. One thing this video does is make reading the Bible chronologically available to blind people, who do not have the resources that other readers have. Thank you for your inclusivity. 9:16

You forgot to mention where you insert the Gospel of John back into the order.

I would read the 3 synoptic Gospels first, then John's Gospel last out of the four. John's Gospel is written using a method called a chiastic structure that is employed by the OT Books. It's not in linear order of the events that happened. It could be confusing to novice readers to see the events out of chronological order.

I thought you were "off the bat" going to say the order of the books. In Genesis why would a god curse a serpent to crawl on it's belly if that's what serpents already do. I mean....not trying to knock anything down but when I was 8 I was forced into being a catholic and I asked questions back then like now. Just curious on anyone's thought. I'm open minded.

Thanks for your comment Merry, I welcome all well meaning comments even if questioning the bible or God Himself.
I am a biblical fundamentalist that looks at the bible as telling the truth inspired by God. Now what that truth is, depends on how things get interpreted and how God intended them to be interpreted. We know that the serpent in the Garden of Edens story represents Satan. Now you can look at that story that there was a literal serpent in the garden which was controlled by Satan, or the serpent in the story is symbolic of Satan in the garden. We know from other books in the bible, that Satan was in the garden of Eden(Ezekiel) and that the serpent was symbolic of Satan.(Revelation) I personally believe there was a literal serpent which was controlled by Satan and he got Eve to eat from the forbidden fruit. Yes, I believe that angels and God can enter into people as vessels.
Now there are other stories in the bible which need a dose of interpretive reality. The Book of Revelation talks about a dragon. Will there be a literal dragon flying around in the sky in the end? I don't believe so, again that is symbolic of something else.
So when you read the bible, it does tell an absolute truth, but you have to study to find what that truth is. I hope this helps.
Can I ask, if you were raised a Catholic, do you believe in God and that Jesus Christ is the Son of God and the Savior of the World? I was raised Catholic too as a child, but looking back I didn't become an actual Christian until several years ago. No worries if you are struggling with that, I'm here to help those that want help. And to answer any questions you have.

i was taught that God cursing the serpant to crawl on his belly = God casting satan to the earth. It also says he was cursed to eat dust. Ancient Israelites wandering around in the desert knew full well snakes didn't eat dust. But a few verses later in Gen 3, he curses Adam saying "for dust you are and to dust you shall return". Snakes also don't eat people's corpses pretty sure.

Its just symbolic for satan being utter defeated...God causes a physical change for a deeper meaning/reminder just like the laws (10 commandments ) is a shadow of things to come

So Job should be first read? Ahh listening and just got there. We seem to agree.
You are teaching things I have known from before you were born ☺️🥰 i will be 73 in February.
I knew about the rape of Noah's wife for a very long time. David's son, Absalom, uncovered his father's nakedness, meaning he raped the 10 concubines David left behind, (publicly in a tent on the roof, before the people) this is the place that gave me the key to "uncovering Noah's nakedness". 2nd Samuel ch 16. Of course, the entire rebellion was caused, at it's base, by the rape of Tamar by her brother Amnon, who her brother Absalom killed later in revenge. I now wonder who was David's first born. I always had a feeling of sympathy for Absalom as he was revenging his sister's rape by his brother and this is what started him down a bad path.
