That fruit hammock is freaking adorable! The second time we tried van life we had three kiddos, including identical twin babes and our van def wasn't this organized, but we had one of those 3 tier fruit holders and it was too much. I'm happy to know this hammock exists so we'll def be getting that thing if we decide to go for a van again, this time as a fam of 6! Yikes!!

Jack, you never know what the future holds!! I have seen some beautiful, functional bus builds! My husband loves the vintage buses so...one of those beauties may be in our future!
The way you communicate with each other is wonderful. When Bec said "I know you were just trying to be goofy, but I didn't like that" I could tell you took a second to hear what she said and she didn't accuse you of being mean intentionally. I'm sure there are times when your communication doesn't go as smooth as it did there, but I really like what just happened at the beginning of your video.

@Traci Losee It’s normal to get annoyed at your spouse sometimes, and I know its irritating when people do that to me. She doesn’t need to “relax” she didn’t get angry or anything.
I like how you show the bits where there is a bit of awkward tension between you to. It makes your videos feel very real!!!

Bec, I love the way you communicate your needs to Eamon. You express what you want graciously- you tell him what you want and he's very lucky you do that. Loads of couples don't manage to communicate early, they wait til its a bigger issue. I'm inspired.

Try a baby bottle warmer for a car. Get the soft kind, not the hard plastic one because the soft warmer you can use for different sizes and it folds up small when not using it. I used one to heat can foods and liquids. You put your can in and it heats it like a bottle. I have a stainless steel tumbler with a leak proof lid I got at a truck stop that I used for liquids. You can make hot chocolate, tea, broth, other hot drinks in your tumbler and heat up leftovers with out a microwave. Works great. No mess and super convient to use. Super compact and dont take up space. They are inexpensive and you can get them at most stores.

# 1 van life essential= my Luci Light (solar powered lantern). I just stick it on my dash during the day and use it as necessary at night. Couldn’t imagine life without it ❤️

Some of my van/ vehicle essentials are portable pouch shower, mini fridge/ cooler, air purifier, coffee maker, regular hammock, little Porta potty toilet, crate for my 2 Chihuahua mixes🤗🤗😍😍
You guys are fab ! My daughter (13yrs, on the 27th sept!) loves Eamon’s lil’ rhyme...”i love eating, i don’t like reading...unless it’s a menu !!” She sings it back to us alllll the time, as she’s always hungry too !! Love watching your van life, our free time is based around our ponies/horses, so it looks like we will have a van that tows a trailer !! But also with good insulation cos we live in Cornwall, U.K, but also love skiiing in the french Alps !! Never a dull moment Lol. Lotsalove guys xxx

My mom has had her blender for like 13 years. She constantly says it's the first thing shed save if there was a fire. Definitely recommend blenders!!
The Gneiss Spice rack is brilliant. Yeah, it's more expensive than the competition but it'll keep spices fresher longer and that's a good thang.

Some of my essentials to add: a good speaker. I'm crazy about music and having a good speaker in my van is super important. Also my hammock. If I can pop out of the van with a book and string up my hammock, I'm in heaven!

I use my KeepCup as a snack container when I’m driving. I put granola, berries, nuts etc in it (when I’m not drinking coffee from it obviously!) I couldn’t live without it

You guys are so adorable...I am getting ready to embark on van life at age 45 and i have gained so much in-site from a couple youngins. You two are creative and kind. Enough sunshine up your butts. Stay cool and keep up the fun knowledgeable content. I dig it. ☮️
I have a van and I literally have none of these things 😂 I think it’s great the things you have though. I wanted a door net but I didn’t know that I could put it on a sliding door but I think I’m gonna try it! I HATE bugs! I wish I had a sprinter because then I could copy everyone that has it but I have a little Citroen... it does have a toilet though, that’s my essential!!!
Yep, I pretty much agree with all your list. Some of the essentials for us would be convenience bedside shelves or cubbies or something smart for our phones, glasses, etc. and we would love skylights - as natural light is really important to us in the van - so hopefully we can incorporate them. :)
Did the honey bee also have a toothbrush stored away in the cabinet ..lol. I really liked the diffuser, and the holder Eamon installed for it. It's something like all your essentials can be used in any home. Thanks for a great Vid...Love & Peace

I Love you guys!! You are such an inspiration to me. I'm trying to convince my husband to move into a van/off grid space. We are traveling soon and it's just what seems best. You both remind me of us! Keep loving each other every day and be patient..we had to work a lot on active listening when we traveled 24/7 together in the past without much time apart it's definitely a challenge. 💓

I know no one talks about this but another great way of having a cup adn own utensils if the lack of spread if bad bacteria in the oral microbiome. That's why always have my own cup 😁 going to a friends use own cup. Saved me alot on dental bills 😜😁

I loved how they said we 🥺🥺 my dad and I were thinking that we should decorate a van for our family to travel and I got that fruit hammock from my amazon so my dad didn’t see it and he was so surprised! I do my small business on the road because the road to the cabin we have that’s 1k miles away!! Has a smooth road so stickers are so easy!
I'm late to this party, but feel compelled to comment after reading the Eamon bashing :). Great video, informative. Love the chemistry between E&B. Not that it's anyone else's biz to weigh in on your dance, but IMO you two know exactly how to best dance w/ each other. When one of you missteps, the other pulls it back in to perfect step. IMO, you BOTH show deep respect for each other. For each of you, your individual charisma is magnetic; your combined charisma is even more powerful. It's your dance; continue to do what works for you.
Ok Eamon, now I have got to order a chia kit. The superpowers gave me something to think about but now that I know I will be as good looking as Bec, you have left me with no way out! Love you both keep on keeping on.
Love the little chai pot. We have something considerably smaller for heating up small amounts of coconut oil or melting butter. My wife's had it for years (pre-dates me in her life!) When we saw you making chai in it a few months ago, we started wondering about getting one. In the end, we got a second small sauce pan because when we make chai, it's for two, and we also find that we invariably have one pot going for something like rice or pasta and need a second pot to heat a sauce or beans or something else.

I bought your chai pitcher and strainer a while back. I also use the pitcher under my Berkey water filtration system and it is a perfect fit in the space I have in my van. I’ll send you a photo sometime.

Loved the video and tips! You both are so cute. Will definitely be getting a couple of these, especially the swing fruit basket and your chai kit! Looked at it a couple weeks back, but will for sure be getting it soon. Just in the process of down sizing and organizing in our newly remodeled cargo trailer/tiny home. Magnetic spice jars would totally work in my house! And that sneak peek of the puppy: he's so cute! all I can say is don't adopt a puppy/any animal unless you are ready to give up some of your freedom. They are amazing, but they are work!

Eamon & bec the essential oil diffuser is great but if its under wood after a couple years it will start to mold and the reason i know that is because i used to have a oli defuser in my book shelf and now its molded so i have to get a new one and i got a sticky pad to go on top of the new shelf i have and its ben holding up for about 7 years so just a heads up!
