Oh man, never too late. I know the "old days" are good and gone. But this is by FAR their best music lately in my honest opionion. A Kiss for the Whole World, Nothing is True But Everything is Possible, The Spark and Mindsweep were all so vibrant and different from one another. To be honest they've elevated each album, and the great thing is with Shikari, as fans, most know not to compare them to their old stuff as you know damn well they're gunna switch it up, which is a breath of fresh air. What I'm saying is, you're here now while they're still pretty young. They're as good live as they were 10 years ago as they are now - if not better!
My partner and I were in A&E at 4am on no sleep - I can't tell you how proud I was in my tired state to see Shikari appear on the quiet television in the waiting room after 5 hours of tortuous waiting. It was like seeing a Giraffe walk in as it's so rare to see heavier bands, let alone Shikari, be seen anywhere in mainstream media. I don't think I've seen Shikari on national television... ever? They're so underappreciated "It Hurts". Well done on the amazing new album, and thank you for bringing your art to the world for as many years as you have and for not giving up in those blank page moments!
The first time I meet my wife was after I invitet her to a Enter Shikari concert and she said "let's go together"... still together with her after 12 years :)
First gig I ever went to was Enter Shikari in Exeter back in 2008 before their second album came out. I was obsessed with them! Have since moved onto other music tastes but still revisit their first album for nostalgia. Will have to check out the new stuff!
I got an album signed by them at HMV music store and got a photo taken with them and melted when i saw Rob. When i was on twitter i tagged him and called him heart-throb Rob and he liked it 😏❤️
Yes! I have found myself connecting with ES so much lately and to hear that they have been friends for so long is more uplifting than I am able to express!
@@hkleider I met them, they were very nice, signed autographs for free, took pictures with everyone. Wholesome. Do you not know what it means...? Wholesome: conducive to or suggestive of good health and physical well-being. conducive to or promoting moral well-being.
I hate when interviewers ask how was covid for you. Like covid was terrible for everyone. people lost their jobs and even their lives and loved ones, who cares how some rich and famous people were affected during covid while in their mansions, sitting on their riches . This is nothing against enter shikari, they are just answering the question.
And not I’m saying Enter Shikari have mansions and are super rich. As an independent band ye I bet they did struggle during covid as much as the normal person
mood. yeah. enter shikari always say how greatful they are doing what they do so any clever people can understand you dont mean them. yeah when theyre talking bout people like ellen and shiz i get what you mean.
Парни, чо вы там вообще делаете?! Поссать случайно зашли?! Одна из лучших групп моего поколения сидит на "Добром утре", что-то там светски болтая....ну если надо, значт надо ...
One of my biggest regrets in life is having discovered these guys so late in the game. But still I will be here...
same. and they're from my hometown too. could have been there at their first shows grrrr ; )
Standing like statues?
@downstate oh damn yeah that must be even more frustrating! I missed them by a few months last year. Hoping they tour locally again soon!
@@XxXNiCoLiXxX Indeed. Very much so.

These guys were awesome. I saw them about 10years ago supporting The Prodigy in Berlin. 👍

Thank you so much for posting these interviews for those of us outside the UK who have no way of accessing them.
I remember seeing this guys at Warped Tour in Pittsburgh Pa, those were the days.
They looked so much younger.
These guys are one of the best bands I’ve photographed, so much energy. Got this awesome pic of Chris crowd surfing with his bass after a stage dive
Thank you for uploading!
No worries!

I absolutely love Shikari man, best mates making music together is just a wholesome vibe 👏

Love these guys. Come back to Canada soon.
Mad to see I saw these guys in Stockport in 2006 to about 40 people, now they're on Sunday brunch!
I remember when these guys were local band level and listening to the original demo before the re-recordings. Crazy how big they got.
They're so wholesome.
Saw em live in Ohio in 2011 Warped Tour! :)
What does this word even mean at this point?

Upper class got a holiday, working class got to hunker down with 2 kids in a 2 bedroom flat.
As if people are still asking bands “what was lockdown like for you?” in interviews
Yeah can't have people remembering covid, gotta memory hole it as quickly as possible.

They used to be younger than me
