Thank you for your constructive criticism, this lesson was intended for players who already know the song but wanted to learn a different way to play it. The order is Dm | F | Bb | C# | followed by a refrain on G. The next sequence is Dm | Dm | Bb | C# | again followed by a refrain on G. The next section is a repetition of the 1st pass Dm | F | Bb | C# | ..Strumming patterns can get quite confusing when explained mathematically, hence the reason chose to skip it. I hope this info is useful (,")
You could also play xx3211 = xxFACF (do this by playing a "baby barre" with your 1st finger across strings 1 & 2), and you could also play x33211 = xCFACF, then finally the full barre: 133211 = FCFACF. It's the same theory for the Bb, you need to mute 4,5 & 6 if you're going to play the stripped down version xxx331 = xxxBbDF. Hope this helps (,")
To play the verse it's Dm, F, Bb, C - If you wanna play in open position I can give you easier ways to play "non-barre" versions of the F and Bb - let me know (,")
Nice tutorial man! you sound amazing in voice and guitar.. I only have a request, could you plz make a cover playing the whole song. It would help a lot of people. Keep the good work
This is a really old vid man, didn't realise ppl were still searching for it. Glad you enjoyed it & found it helpful. I doubt I'll have the time to revisit as I'm so busy these days. Plus I doubt I can sing like that any more 😬. Thanks again for stopping by 👍🏽
Unbeliavble youre showing me a song, in under 3 Minutes, and im really sure, because i got the technic down to strum baree chords, i could really do this, i gonna try this just tomorrow, but anyways thank you a lot men. This is just so nice.
Man, your voice is really awesome! The guitar chords are correct, I checked them on the official songbook. But I'm so sad 'cause I cannot identify the right strumming pattern, can you help me?
Cheers bro! The strumming pattern is a bit weird on this one, and it changes for every section. My best advice is to try n create your own by using your ear, but if that's not working try to use this info. Most of the strumming is based around this pattern 1 a3 - 1 is a down strum and lasts for 1 and 3 quarter beats, then you strum up on the a - which lasts a quarter of a beat, then down on the 3 lasting 2 beats. I hope this helps (,")
You can play an easier (stripped out) version of the chord as an alternative to playing a barre, then progress as your hand gets stronger. The notes needed to play an F chord are F A C, so xx321x = xxFACx. If you play 003210 you'll be playing EAFACE, and the E shouldn't really be in the chord - so you need to mute/ not play strings 1,5 & 6.
Мансур Макжанов Cheers bro! This is one of my earliest vids, so a little rough round the edges but a great song and a decent explanation - very glad it was helpful (,")
Cheers Mikey, I can tell you like the British acoustic rock songs - I think this genre is really good for solo rhythm guitar with a solo vocal. I'm putting up a Coldplay tutorial for Clocks tomorrow (with the all the chords they play in the actual song), be sure to check it out if you're into their stuff. Take it easy man (,")
Hello mate, for the life of me I cannot get what you do in those 2 very quick notes.. inbetween the verse and the chorus.. could you help me out please, nice one!
The original guitar is actually tuned a half step down! He plays a C#m7 shape - which is heard as a Cm7. I've transcribed it using a capo on the 1st fret, hence the Bm7 shape - which is heard as a Cm7. Using a capo means you don't have to detune your guitar, which is a real pain if you don't have more than 1 guitar. This may seem confusing if you are unfamiliar with transposing using a capo, but just use your ear and you will hear that all the voicing are accurate. Thank you for your comment.
The strumming on the verse is Down Up Down - played on the 1st beat, then the AND of the 2, then the 3rd beat respectively. I'm unable to reply to Alexander's question directly as it is a linked comment, but hopefully he sees this too. Cheers! (,")
Hey man, this is one of the very 1st videos I made so no close-ups I'm afraid. The tabs are all in the description though so it should all make sense (,")
You have a great voice. And thanks for the chords. It's a beautiful song.
Thank you 🙏🏾 this was super helpful

Thanks man. It's hard to please everyone, but as long as most find it useful then I'm happy (,")
brilliant, I'm so glad I found this. Also, your voice is gold
The 2 notes are F then E - played on the 1st fret of the Low E string then open. Play on the 3 then the and of the 4th bar of G. Hope this helps (,")

Igor Smirnov Cheers bro!
Love this song, great thanks mate x
nice I'd like to hear you sing the full tune.
I don't ever sing the whole song in my tutorials, but always try to give enough to help people hear how the melody & rhythm fit together (,")
ok, make a cover song vid then. You got a nice voice.
Damn you’re so good!!
Thank you 😊
What's the order of the courses for the verse?
How do you do the riff after the G
Hello mate, for the life of me I cannot get what you do in those 2 very quick notes.. inbetween the verse and the chorus.. could you help me out please, nice one!
nice singing bro
I know how to make an easier version of the f (003210), doing the C shape. As far as Bb, i usually play it 000331, if that's correct?
It's actually a semitone up and starts on D# minor

Whats the strumming pattern?

I would like to see all of the chords used in the song graphically

You're welcome (,")
Amazing Voice, You Should Be Singing More Often!
