Some of the most successful products on Sharktank have been simple products. Robert deserves credit for two reasons, one for sticking to his contrarian opinion to other sharks and the other for being considerate in his equity expectation.
@@yvonnecortes_ I didn’t say it was a bad product at all lmao, I would love a pair or a couple. I’m just saying, it’s not crazy to say there may not even be grass in the future
They would probably do good business selling at outdoor venues . I can picture it being one of those products that would never occur to me to buy unless desperate and in the moment
Your "joke" is the epitome that it is outplayed for the simple reason that it had no correlation here. You made that just for the likes because everyone else has likes on the same joke.
Funny how no one says that the product is too simple, it's just a piece of plastic attached to heels. They day they become popular enough, some Chinese company will start making it for 2.99 a pair. So many of such products are regularly thrashed by sharks but this time they won't probably because pitchers are two attractive women.
These gals probably won't be wearing heels like that in 10 years ....I'm 59 and high heels are a thing of the past....Comfort is my priority now ....good luck ladies.
Becca is not only gorgeous, but is intelligent and great under pressure! I think they will do fine without a shark! They got a nice push in sales from this show anyways...
I just watched the episode and wondered if they were still in business. According to reports they backed out of the deal with Robert. It’s obvious they were never looking for a deal. It was a free TV commercial. I guess I can’t blame them, but why make a deal at all??
He protects himself when he sees risky investment. He is the only one who gives offers often. Its better to give an offer regardless of the entrepreneurs like it or not, instead of being out 90 percent of the time like the others.
When you invest in a business like this, you buy the executives and the know-how involved much more than the specific product. Thinking about all the future possibilities of new launches and new sources of income. 2 of these female executives on the market are worth more than $500k / year each
I think the ladies should try to come up with more practical use cases for example protecting those really expensive stilettos that’s over $1000 each. They kept saying to protect shoes from glass and that’s good but it’s such a niche product and most likely a one time purchase so the customer acquisition rate would be very high….
so women want to wear something with a heal that's thin, but then they want it to be wide again so they add another thing to make it wide again? i'm done..
@@crykling9682 i wouldn't wear them either but he did look insecure. Like if something weird happend when he tries them on, his image would have been different.
I never understood the fascination with the term Alpha. Human beings are capable of incredible complex thought and emotion. Why would someone think it makes them superior to demean themself and lower their intellect and ability to that of a classification people use for dogs?
Some of the most successful products on Sharktank have been simple products. Robert deserves credit for two reasons, one for sticking to his contrarian opinion to other sharks and the other for being considerate in his equity expectation.
The only problem with Robert is that he almost never closes deals, which is the exact case with this business too
Kevin walked like a natural in them 😂😂
I know right? That was so badass of him.
Robert never closed the deal…
They went on to boom and make 2.2 in revenue through CVS.
Celebrities endorsed their product.
Revenue is nothing. They barely make a profit. And they were right, none of them would ever get their investment back that way.
@@wolfura And neither did Amazon for quite a while
I’ve seen that Mark is the only one that closes most of the deals he makes. The others only close 50% of time and rarely for the deal made on the show

Yes! I total agree.
What do you mean he doesn't get enough credit ???
What is him being the third richest sark have to do with anything? He’s just a lovable guy that’s it
Nothing to do with shark tank. Lori is more successful then Mark on deals.
Doesn’t get enough credit for backing out of deals Which in many cases is a disservice for the entrepreneurs who choose him over other deals

Of course Robert walks the most eloquently in heels out of all the Sharks.

They did $1.1 million dollars on a produce that cost pennies on the dollar and only netted $30k after salaries? Bad investment

I bought the same product from China, for 10 bucks I could get about 22 pairs, not one.
If I still wore heels I'd buy this in a heartbeat!!
It was unfair for Robert to say that 5% doesn’t matter… If it doesn’t matter, he should have taken it right away?
Agreed, If it dont matter why even bring it up
Mark always said that but with different phrase "10% of grapes..." and yet you don't complain?
@@Mikael2492 But Mark didn’t say that in this video? This is a comment on this video, not one where Mark says that…
He made them work for that 5%... so much is said in negotiations that you can't get "distracted" by words!
Well, think of it this way. To them, it's a small percentage of their business. But to Robert, 5% is a 25% increase from the 20% equity they offered.
