Thanks once again John for your QC content, please share on the cloud. Like so many others, I continue to really appreciate all your content. Thanks for all the time and effort you put in to your channel.
@@jhnoliver Yep, I agree John. Love my QC and use it weekly publicly and it's not let me down. I really appreciate the built in connectivity too and that I just don't have any real need to interface it with a PC to build my presets and sets etc.
Great video and demo of the amazing audio. I stumbled upon your video here and it has me quite hopeful. I picked up the QC 2 days before my vacation and I am looking forward to my return to dive deeper. Great tone!
I'm working on my car in the middle of a dark forest with nothing but a runners light on my forehead to aid my eyes, and this made it a lot less scary👌
Just picked up my Quad Cortex yesterday and already love it. Also love your videos, your playing and really appreciate the work you do and the vids you put out John. Have bought your Line6 packs and would certainly love any QC patches you would care to share. Thanks again.
I'm starting to think that John is using his influence and his skill at making anything sound great as a way to stop us from buying gear. He shows us that a thing sounds fantastic and we realize that we have enough. We don't need more. Line6, Boss, Fractal, Neural DSP, cheapies, no-names ...what we have is enough.
Not sure that patch could be created on any other current modeler. Thanks John, really sounded great. But the way, would love to see some more JC gig diary episodes. We all learn a lot from how you actually play live.
That is an excellent point. I am a bit undecided between waiting for the FM9 Turbo or getting the QC. I wonder if you could achieve anithing this complex with the FM9.
Thanks John. I really enjoyed this and your QC content. Something I have been struggling with recently, since one of the recent software upgrades is creating scenes. Every time I go to change a scene (enable or disable an effect), the change seems to be replicated across all the scenes. I must be doing something wrong. Anyway, I really love the QC. More videos creating such beautiful tones would be appreciated. Thank you. #neuraldsp #quadcortex
Once again man, nevermind all the gear being showcased... Playing is 10/10, as friggin' always. Please, please keep doing what you do. Cheers and thanks.
Hey John If you can get your hands on it since your across the pond from me I would really recommend old blood noise sunlight pedal . It’s a dynamic freeze reverb as they call it but it makes a great ambient pedal with tape reverb tones. That plus the hologram microcosm or chase bliss mood and you can get some crazy ambient tones like this with mosaic setting and drone and so on. Haven’t really been sold on the digital stuff but this channel is slowly making me change my mind along with a lot of touring musicians I’m following along also.
Thanks for your video. Love what your doing on the channel. Would I be able to download that profile from your cloud? Where can I find you on the cortex cloud
This is really good! You're playing is obviously excellent, but the idea of manipulating the freeze signal in a parallel path is what really stands out to me. Very creative indeed! I must say that this really makes me interested in the QC. Could something like this be achieved on the FM9 as well?
Hi John, Great Quad Cortex content as ever. #neuraldsp #quadcortex you should defiantly check out what John is doing. Please put this patch up on the cloud
I know you’re not a big Boss GT-1000 Core user but do you know a way to get a freeze effect on there? I’ve tried to emulate your HX preset in there but couldn’t quite find a way to make it work
Can you please stop playing that magical stuff while I'm trying to understand and learn what you're doing - my mind goes blank of your amazing performance!! PS and PLEASE - upload.

Looking forward to this once its on cloud. Seems so amazing to practice to!

Haven't commented yet but I've been enjoying your videos for quite some time. Thank you so much!
Your melodies are incredible man!
Just signed on as a patreon. Best value on the net, thank you.
Thanks!
Very sweet and crystal clear ambiance in that tone. Catch chord riff.

Your playing/tone heals my soul dude lol so good
Beautiful playing as always.
There you go! Love the freeze function!! Nice jammin Bro!! ~cheers
So tasty. Glad you’re doing more QC content. It sounds amazing.

I think you are right. Almost anything can have a great sound in it, we just have to find it. And trying to find it is half the fun.
Great perspective. I thought I needed one of each. Now I’m broke 😢
@@TheOligoclonalBand I agree with you

Check out John’s other video demonstrating freeze functionality on the FM3
Thank you for making your stuff available on the cloud.
Yep, shoot it to the cloud please. That's a given with any of your creations. Good stuff as always

+1 from me for putting this on the cloud!
Awesome. Please add to the cloud if it isn’t too much a bother!
Man those tones are tasty af!
I’d download it if it were in the cloud.
Great sound with double freeze + looper - I would get it

You can save a block by holding down the Input Block and turning on the Adaptive Gate there.
One more big update and I may have another QC... A few more delay options, a usable spring, and some more OD's and I'm golden.
These sounds are as good if not better than what you’ve been able to get from the Helix.
Nice!
I'd love to get this preset!
Would love to check out the preset!
jason sadites says that he cant hear a quality difference between the qc and helix, can you?
I agree.
Very tasty 😎
I'm on the edge of getting a qc but torn between that and a helix, any advice?
is the massive latency problem fixed on the QC?
What about combining the Quad Cortex with the HX stomp🤔?
Does it have analog dry through?? Is it possible to pass the analog signal through it somehow?? Thnxx brother ❤
Are you using amp models or captures for this? Sounds very natural, dynamic and amp like! Sweet playing as always
hi John^^ is there any Vai profile tone to download from cortex cloud..? 😊
Oh please...every tone you create sounds incredible. That's not new. You could probably make a Headrush sound great.
Shure, hr sounds good

How you record it? Poweramp cab mic? Direct record?

Solid preset but the tone is all in the purple socks

Stunning tones!
