When I was dating and living in an apartment with my Gf she will most definitely pay 50% of everything. But now that I’m married have kids I pay 100% but she’s a stay at home mom. Even if she did work which one day she will I still wouldn’t have her pay 50%. But that’s just me and I’m Latino. I don’t think taking care of your woman is not a Latino thing. Idnk 🤷🏽♂️

@@jokerharley1271 honestly it’s alot 😂 people forget relationships is about happiness, this guy clearly makes enough money to pay the full rent but chooses 50/50, obviously him stepping up & providing 100% paying the rent would make her alot happier, maybe take some stress off of her which then means she’s now able to make him happier. Guys have to lead & provide, makes the relationship overall better

I have a story related to this I grew up with my dad being well off I knew my mom kinda married for money she’s younger then my dad very vine and she had surgery from head to toe and my mom came from a well off family in Mexico too so she never really had to do anything and my whole family is educated so my sister never worked a regular job till after university and she just moved to London short story my dad never once told us what he made even in the ball park we moved around a lot but always had nice house traveled alot growing up my dad always had a good car for example right now he has a Jaguar mean while I’m hs they refused to give me any money tell me what they made or help me I graduated on my own had to work since I was 15 my parents were embarrassed of me working but still wouldn’t give me any money and I thought maybe they just didn’t make that much well out of Curiosity I looked up how much only one of his business starting salary was which is anywhere from 100k to 150k and I lost it I want to fight the man all this time I worked so hard got everything my self when he could have easily helped me mind you that’s only starting salary and he owns the businesses so I can only imagine it’s more then 200k he’s making and I felt like letty I’m still so mad till this day me letty went through the same thing!!
Sound like your parents did their best to provide and keep the bills paid. The more you make , the more problems present themselves. My parents did not do as well as yours but I am grateful they risked their life crossing the border and now I can provide better to my girl and kid plus got my own little side business going. Sometimes not everything served in a gold platter tastes well.
