Whisky.com reviews the Cardhu 15 years. Cardhu means something like black rock in Gaelic. The bottlings of the distillery are made in a relatively long distillation process.

Great video! I know I have a similar taste so I ordered the bottle, now it's just waiting for the carrier :D
Newly carved glass, Horst?
It's nice!
Great video as always.
I just want to know what is difference between spirit and whiskey and aged whiskey?
When they will go up to 46%? I can only imagine that, if the law lowers the abv to 35% to consider it a whisky, this sort of brand would decrease de abv asap...
Isn’t Cardhu used as a base in some Johnnie Walker blends?
Servus Horst wie läufts?
Wish we could get this in U.S. 😑
Hello could anyone recommend a beginner single malt please I really don't know where to start thanks, also this channel is excellent.
Just get the Glenfiddich 12 y.o., it’s everyone’s beginner single malt since they have it in every supermarket.
Or get the Glenfarclas 12 y.o. if you can find it.
Thanks I'll have a look at them.
@@nh-f1112 I’m just getting into scotch myself. I also started with the Glenfiddich 12 but I would also recommend trying a few different 50ml single malt bottles to find one you like.
I would go with glendronach 12 .. little bit expensive but it's worth it..
Just found one I really like, Glenlivet Caribbean Reserve. I like rum so the rum cask finish makes sense for me. It’s sweet and light without too much of that tangy fruit mixed with a touch of vinegar odor I get from Glenfiddich 12. I also finally tried a miniature of Johnnie Walker Blue Label. I don’t know what all the fuss is about. Maybe my palate just isn’t sophisticated enough.
This is still a beginners whisky, like dalwhinnie 15... but yes, it’s a nice whisky but not that special
First!
