William Walker had a lieutenant named Fredrick Townsend Ward, who raised and lead a mercenary army in China against a rebel force whos' leader was peasant who thought he was the younger brother of Jesus. History is fucking wierd

Commenting to say, haha, wow, yellow fever sounds like a real pickle. According to Wikipedia, it's five days of fever, chills, nausea, and backache, followed by a recovery, and 15% of the time then it relapses, causing liver-no-work-good and attendant jaundice, hence the yellow, and also bleeding from every hole on the face, and also hiccups.
