Horan is complaining because she got outworked and physical by a much smaller player. I wonder if she would have had the same attitude towards Daniëlle van de Donk if she lost the game. She was all buddy buddy with only after she got what she wanted. Netherland played a much game period. They outplayed, outhustled and outcoached the US team.

That referee needed to pull out more cards. Why don’t they put male referees?, I think they would show more respect.
In some instances maybe, but I disagree. As someone who used to ref (granted not on the world stage), the most disrespectful attitudes I would receive came from females.
Just selecting a male ref doesn’t automatically change anything. There are many refs that the public doesn’t like on both sides of the game.
Jackie Groenen is attacked so many times it was ridiculous.
The ref could've given 2 cards for diving.
@@markvanderknoop131 Jackie Groenen also attacked others many times (not in retaliation) so she got what she asked for. The refs in this WWC seem to allow a lot of physical contacts so players need to adjust.

that tackle was clean by van de donk she was always going for the ball why would they argue something that not even the ref went back to and check cause there was no need for no review and she never showed that it was a foul and allowed the play to continue the world knows usa woman is good but they kinda found their match last night against the dutch

Yes, I think she got away with it even though it occurred before her scoring the goal. Dutch fans might think her not receiving the 2nd card was unfair to their team & impacted the outcome of the match.

Van De Donk really deserved a yellow card...and yeah when the ref brought them together she behaved like a mom instead of a ref...Asian chicks do that a lot

Actually Horan should have gotten a card. No referee should have to bring players together and chat with them for a play that happened minutes earlier that wasn't a foul. Horan would not stop complaining. It was a lack of spine from the ref that allowed Horan to keep questioning her call and actually bring VDV into the discussion as if she did something wrong.
After this, every single time VDV touched the ball she was fouled by the US.
Donkey is the dirty player and refs don't card her as they should, so she pushes it every single game she is in, until one time she'll get her face smashed in, would be lovely to see that on a big screen
