This is true. Every child in a family is different and have individual needs and characters. One maybe more assertive, one maybe more shy, one more active, one more silent and observant and smarter. Rocky is different then the other two. He will be smarter but more emotional, affectionate, loving caring then the others . They should cling at that age 24/7 til at least 4 mos old, but if they arent gicen enough clinging it prolongs their dependence. Unlike humans the thumbsucking is an unnatural sign of great distress that he is not getting enough clinging to feel secure. It is not like humans where it works to push them to independence. You cannot overdo the clinging. Those neck pillows you should've put him on to cling to they're perfect for it.
