Just wish TPTB had realized sad soap isn't good for ratings. Needed something soapy fun to pull ratings out of the ditch and then can do a cool 'Jack lost his way' story.
Re-watching this scene again makes me see Jack need for Carly so clearly. It is almost heartbreaking.
