The heat shrink tubing that you are using at 4:16 is way to big for those wires. Consider that heat shrink tubing will contract only about 50% of its original size. When finished there should be no voids on either end as the tubing will be flush with the wire. So choose heat shrink tubing that is no more than twice the width of the wire.
