Nice collection. The only one I have is for The Order 1886, which I found at a thrift store and bought as a joke because the game is so straight forward that you don’t need a guide for it. It’s all “press the circle button when the prompt appears on the screen” and then massive screenshots.
+DariusTruxtonLiveOnceAgain "Game Players" was also my go to gaming magazine, as well as "Nintendo Power". I never had the one with the "Virtua Fighter" cover, though.
Great seeing your guides & seeing them used, like they should be. I love to see good top-down maps from the games. I was shocked to find out once it arrived that the "Alien Resurrection" had no maps. "Fun Bags", God forbid we have sexy characters today in games. The first time in a couple decades I've heard someone else call them that. By the way, have you ever played "The Godfather" game, either on 6th or 7th gen consoles? I would really love to see you do a playthrough of it, if you haven't already bud.
+vinniecorleone62 Yeah, having no map in the "Alien: Resurrection" guide was a deal breaker for me. I named Tifa "Fun Bags" in my live stream of "Final Fantasy 7"; I remember that from someone reviewing "The Rocketeer" when he referred to Jennifer Connelly as Jennifer "Fun Bags" Connelly. Which Tifa from Final Fantasy 7 seems to be based off of. I never played "The Godfather", don't have it either.
@@silverwings21 It's a very good movie licensed big open world game, with terrific melee fighting & gun battles. I sunk a ton of hours into the original Xbox version. I would highly recommend it.
6:48 lol, exactly. I definitely remember seeing that Metal Gear Solid commercial back in the day. Very goofy. But this is the one I also remember seeing, which made me want to have the game: ua-cam.com/video/vvL7bnlicmo/v-deo.html Great job on the video.
@@silverwings21 well the robin was in both dont remember the costumes though probably different in second one along with the different batman. for me probably slightly better but not by alot the batman and robin, tommy lee jones and val kilmer, instead of just arnold
Awesome strategery guide collection😄Yeah, I remember Nintendo Power has their own guides, also Game Players, didn't know you liked the classic 8-bit games, thought they where before your gaming time 😄 Great video suggestion from RamboRaphael, I did a similar guide and magazine collection video - in fact, about a year before AvGN did his😄👍📚🎮

I never played that one.
True 😆
I love strategy guides. They are not a thing really these days unfortunately. Thank youtube walkthroughs for that. Nice collection
+emeraldgamecave679 Thanks.
@@silverwings21 No problem. Would it be OK if I did a strategy guide collection video too one day. I'll give you credit for the idea
@@emeraldgamecave679 Yeah, it would be ok.
@@silverwings21 Cool. I didn't want it to feel too much like copying. 👍
I always preferred "Game Players" as my go too video game magazine. That Virtual Fighter cover brought back memories, I used to have that issue.

@silverwings21 Yeah, I was never subscribed to any of them. I had to ask my parents to buy one, or I would get 1 as a stocking stuffer
Cool strategy guide and magazine collection man.

Thanks.
*Great Collection!*
