  • During our trip to Alaska recently Jim (Woolly Rhino) had made arrangements to have his cabin shell delivered. The first step was to have the support system installed. He had decided to go with helical piles. This video shows the installation process from start to finish. These young guys did a very professional and good job on the install. When I asked them what areas of Alaska they service, they said anywhere. A link to their website is below. If you're in Alaska and need their services, please give these guys a call. Neither Jim nor I get any monetary or other type of reimbursements or monetary funds from these guys. We just want to help out a small business that provides a very valuable service!

That is one really cool machine. Everything they need in one smaller trailer to get the job done. I’m impressed. 👍

They’re nice and all but damn this costs a small fortune.

Thanks for watching Robert! Yes, they are very pricey but by all reports they are really worth it if you're doing that kind of construction. My buddy Jim had the cost of the piers rolled into the overall price and financing of his cabin so that helped ease the bite a bit for him.

A concrete crawl space costs over 50 grand. This costs less than 10.
