This video format was excellent. I appreciated you highlighting a given cactus, explaining numerous facts about it. Very thorough and interesting. No music is also a bonus. Dad has a ton of information to share!!!
What state do you live in? And what is the humidity there? I would like some information to compare with my growing conditions. I can send you information on cacti species growing successfully here🙏
We grow our cactus in Southern California with a Mediterranean climate. The humidity here is 50 percent in the spring and summer and much dryer in the fall!
@@cactusduty5241 both.. the mammillaria and the Echinopsis.. the Echinopsis has given me about 25 pups!! I've had it for 2yrs now. The mammillaria is new.. but it's about 2yrs old.

Love your videos but wondering why you’re not raising your plants so you don’t have to knee down?
They used to be raised but at this place extreme Wind in Fall and Winter blows the benches over. Hard to stand upright wind gusts.

You look like William Spencer
Hello, I am interested in the build of your greenhouses, I can't build a big one, so I have been looking for designs for smaller ones.
We are planning on building more in the coming weeks so we'll film a video to share with you all!
Why do you use plastic pots and not clay pots ?
We use the plastic pots for the smaller plants and when they grow larger we switch them into clay pots!
It's August.. mine hasn't bloomed yet...
Which plant are you referring to?

@@michellechapman6839 The Mammillaria and Echinopsis usually bloom in the spring time
