SLAY!!!!
Slay Indeed. Thanks for watching.
M8 looks stunning seriously re thinking my entry now got no chance with all the amazing makers in this competition!😬🏴👍
Hi Michael, where can I find your entry? Cheers.
"I don't want to call it Bunnings Green, that cheapens it... Let's call it... Fancy green." 😂
Haha glad you appreciated that. Thanks for watching!
Ooh very impressive Dan, and honestly I'm surprised at how well the tambour works on the side like that, looked like a nice smooth motion. You've given me a kick in the ass to get on to a dream build of mine that i've been putting off for years too 😆
Thanks Mario. It’s a good feeling to get such a compliment from such a great maker such as yourself. Yes the wood on wood friction was very challenging. I used a product called “EZY Glide” from Bunnings. It’s incredible. Works well on wooden drawers on wooden runners etc. it saved me!
great video man it was really satisfying to watch. Keep up the good work, i’m keen for the next one.
Thanks Blake! Trying to crank them out as quickly as I can!
What a great looking bit of furniture. I love the outcome and what a nice dark colour of pallet wood. I don’t think many that are that nice 👍
Thank you for your kind words. Yes here in Australia the big Box store throws out these huge 6m long pallets which are made of Merbau. Certainly a good find when it happens!
Very nice indeed, well done
Thank you for your kind words. I wasn't sure if it was going to come together in the end but I am grateful it did.
That is awesome mate. Great work, loved watching your process!
Thanks mate. I really appreciate your kind words. I am enjoying the video editing as much as the woodworking. Cheers.
Great looking piece of furniture. It's a brave use of pallet wood but turned out looking like a walnut cabinet. Nice work.
Thanks mate. Yeah for a lot of the build it was very nervous thinking it wasn’t going to come together. Happy with how it turned out!
Wow! Great build!
Once again, I appreciate you watching Jerome. Thanks for the support!
Love your work mate! Great entry! Those doors are satisfying, and the shape of the whole unit has an art deco feel to it, awesome!
Thanks Sam, Yeah I saw the design on instagram using two bread bins! Glad it came together in the end!
Ye great build lovely looking timber and fun video, gets my vote so far.... 😀
Thank you so much Karl for your kind words. I really enjoyed the build.
Another cracking piece of furniture. It looks great and there is a fair degree of complexity in those doors. Well done mate.
Yeah I didn’t know if it was going to come together or not in the end. The wood on wood friction was a difficult one to overcome. Thanks for watching.
It's gorgeous, think about maybe painting the pocket holes instead too 😊
Too right! I should have done that. I think it wasn’t until I was watching the footage back that the lights really made them stand out!
Great build mate, good stuff
Thanks Ash!
Nice job. Looks great! Your montage music is too loud.
Hi Steve, Thank you for watching. Yes, I tend to agree with you. Sound is something I have struggled with in the last few videos. I am trying to strike a better balance between talking and music. Thank you.
Bunnings green! 😂
No hiding it haha
@@riversidewoodworks honestly I couldn't have used that colour for anything outside the garage workshop. The association is just too strong. 😁 Was bunnings where you sourced the merbau pallets? I've only been finding junk wood at other places nearby
Yeah usually Bunnings. They come in huge 6m long pallets
As said before mate it came up a treat…wax on wax off…..😂😂.
haha Daniel san! Yeah I am happy with it. Cheers for your support as always mate. I appreciate it.
The gun you're using to remove the nails, is that a special gun or just a standard nail gun?
When you're doing the rebate for the tambour, in internal template allows you to do the routing in one motion rather than having to move clamps. It also is easier to use moving the router around the inside of the template, when using an external template, you're also concentrating on holding the bit against the template, this is easier issuing the internal jig.
Hi there, special denailer gun. You can google “Airlocker AP700” to find out more information about it. Thanks for watching.
There are versions available on Amazon here in UK for about £65
