This is an odd video for me… every hook machine I’ve played on is an automatic drain-o if you attempt the wind coaster but only make it up halfway… I think that’s how it was designed so you can’t just cheese it. Did you slant the machine?
Plunge too hard on the skill shot to send it around the ramp, and it gives you another chance to do the skill shot =) I believe it also comes into use in certain multiball situations.
so this game is basically the left ramp loop … like DE Star wars before the updated roms :/ what a shame, this game could have been great! and the music is ridiculous, does not compliment the theme at all, i could go on, but its obvious, Best DE game is Jurassic park, maybe star wars, once you have played one DE pin, youv basically played them all
Only a professional player can consistently hit the left ramp repeatedly. And there are MANY more shots to shoot including a 3 shot combo using both ramps and ultimately a small wizard mode using the right hole. It just depends on how you want to play. This machine is great for beginners and kids IMO. But would likely be boring for a pro like the one shown. Have to just completely disagree with the music comment though. The sound gets me pumped every time I play!

Machines from Data East from the early 90's were pretty simple.... Jurassic park was probably the first more complex game made by DE!!
