As a native Russian speaker I find these videos extremely useful. Maria makes mistakes that are so common among Russian speakers and I like how they are corrected in these videos. Huge thanks to both cannels!
Both channels? Remember that marina makes 20k a month for teaching bad english. Does she deserve the money?

Well, there is this guy by the name of Venya Pak 👀 He's a Russian of Korean ethnicity but got Naturalized as US Citizen 💬He speaks better American English pronunciation and makes less mistakes than Marina when it comes to teaching English 💯
"We suggest that Marina hire a professional English teacher to correct her English." This is also another example.
😄😄😄
Please
Agreed
Isn't "hiring"? 🤔
Thanks MArina Mogilko 👋
We must be grateful to Marina that she provides inexhaustible source of grammar and vocabulary hooks for K&L!
Working Together Means Winning Together 😂😹
Her videos aren't correct!!!!
I really love the way you are correcting other "fake teacher's mistakes", I am not a native speaker , I am from Syria and i really appreciate your efforts .😘
Kevin and Liza are so determined to correct marina's mistake. She would be very happy getting corrected without hiring personal teacher. 😂😂😂
Thanks Marina Mogilko 👀
Several verbs in English are followed by the subjunctive mood: advise, insist, propose, require, ask, intend, recommend, suggest, demand, order, regret, urge, desire, prefer, request, and wish
Omg, she makes so many primitive mistakes (like “it mean”), it’s ridiculous!🤦🏻♀️
Thank you Kevin and Lisa!🙏 These kind of videos are really interesting and helpful! Sometimes I watch Marina’s videos trying to find her mistakes myself😅
My favourite line: It's not correct to say this...
And then Marina appears.
Waiting a review of the Venya
Amazing corrections, really important. A lot of people lose points on the test because of these mistakes
My first language is Russian. And your lessons are perfect for me.
Hello, I’m from Russia and I always watch Magilko’s videos but after finding this channel, I don’t want to watch her anymore 😂 yeah, her videos are good but this channel gives more useful information than hers. I’m so glad right now. Still make mistakes but thanks UA-cam for recommending me these amazing videos 🥰
I recommend that Marina watches English for everyone.
Great job Kevin, I love your videos, very clear and thanks for teaching the correct way of talking or speaking American english
Common verbs followed by a gerund
Some common verbs that are followed by gerund are: avoid, enjoy, finish, hate, keep, like, love, don't mind, prefer, recommend, spend time, stop, suggest, etc.

Kevin you are brilliant, thank you very much.😊
She made so many mistakes in one video. She must be really confident person 😮
She must be truly incompetent, that’s who she is.

Youre real English teacher
I would like a video with Venya. If he even ever makes mistakes in English of course.
It seems like you are watching every single video Marina is uploading. And also watching them carefully in order to find any mistakes🤣🤣
Explained in a simple way.very nice.
Super useful lesson🙏Tnx a lot
Замечательно, все по полочкам разложил. У меня эта тема - управление глаголов- всегда вызывает трудности. Формат обучения замечательный: ты и слушаешь, и говоришь. А уж на чужих ошибках учиться куда приятнее, чем на собственных. Вот только в it means, скорее всего, была просто оговорка у Марины.
У неё вся речь из подобных "оговорок". Наконец-то кто-то поставил эту неграмотную инфоцыганку на место.

As a school English teacher myself I find your videos highly useful! I learn a lot with you! Keep up! What an interesting idea to correct the "bragger's" mistakes! It's ok to make mistakes as a not native speaker but I wouldn't teach these mistakes on UA-cam. Marina surely has too much self-confidence!
Dame thought
Linguamarina continues confusing her students with mistakes. She doesn’t respect her students at all. So ridiculous 🤦🏻♀️
Tell the truth Marina.
Thanks, this is helpful

Thanks! I've just learned how the verbs suggest/recommend are using in English.
Marina and her friend Venya Pak they both watch your videos , because you are good teaches!
Man make a group in Telegram for more abilibilies in the teaching English.
Good song to remember “tell the truth” - Clawfinger “The Truth”.
You've been correcting so many errors which is quite appreciatable. I would like to make a request, if you could make a video based on infinitive and gerund. And to bring up some more expressions.
😍🙏
Excellent video. This is how teaching/learning English should be.
Back in the University we were told to also use -ing after "allow" and were punished for disobeying, until many years later, when the Internet rushed into our lives, and much to my surprise I started coming across "allow to" e.g. in new reports. At those times, I wanted to find my teachers to tell them "See, it is not a crime at all, it's legal!"
Thanks a lot keep it up♡
Great job 👍😎
Why does Marina have such a privilege in correcting her mistakes for free?
Kevin, I highly appreciate your effort and knowledge. Except the must be one more word omit in the construction: ‘I suggest (that) she (SHOULD) exercise’. In British English it is sometimes uttered, while it is hardly ever used in American English. However, this omit word explains why the verb is used in bare infinitive. Your explanation “a simple action, not a routine” fails to clear it up, otherwise we would always say ‘I exercise and he exercise’ instead of ‘he exercises’.
it means attention.
5:12 - there should be a picture of Mogilko with the inscription: "She's not telling the truth".
😊
Don't Tell No Lie 🤥 sounds more AMERICAN 💯

Hi Kevin, thanks for your videos.🤩
May I ask what " stray data" mean?
So entitled marina . She thought no body was going to have the nerve to speak about it. I love this Chanel. They are honest and not afraid to speak the truth. I have learned so many mistakes from marina.
Could you clarify the use of to be in the Second Conditional. For example:If she was/were here, she would help me
Hi. I wanted to find some more information about suggest/recommend and got very confused. Some resources say that the verb "advise" follows the same rule, while others say it doesn't. Also, the first result on Google says that it's ok to say "I recommend you to do something". Can you help me to find the truth?
Avoid Marina by any cost
Hello Kevin, thanks for tutorials. Tell me please why I understand you perfectly but don't understand others, I watched a lot of video about it, this is kinda lazy pronaunciation, linking words and dropping of letters and what? What I must do for improving?
Learn the features of connected speech
But we can say, Dr. Suggested excercise (noun)...
Exercising (noun) or that I exercise (verb)
You need at least to put an article before "exercise" because it's countable. One exercise, two exercises, three exercises but anyoway it doesn't make sense.
I don't doubt your expertise for a moment. However, I've recently come across this example: " I wouldn't recommend anybody to stay in that hotel. " Source: Raymond Murphy, English Grammar in Use.
Come on, guys, you've got such a useful channel I enjoy watching it but, please, don't be mean, you are better than that

He suggested that she should be on time
The native English speakers wouldn't do because the word "should" is redundant.
I'm a native English speaker and I'd say that.
@@karp1248
The subjunctive sound more natural to a number of native English speakers' ears. "He suggested that she should" would be overkill and somewhat tautological-as I already said.
Yep, I'm just saying this is false: "native English speakers wouldn't do"
